Lord_Dreadmoor: Thank you for the kind words. It is much appreciated. :):):)

TopOneTone: Thank you. The winch system took about a week to create. The biggest hurtle was trying to make it look futuristic and most importantly operational. It had so many working parts once I finished it, I wrote down a step-by-step sequence of how the damn thing loaded the XL spaceship onto the rocket sled so I wouldn’t forget. I built it and almost couldn't use it! The “illustrated” look is more luck than skill. It’s probably due to many of the scenes took place at night or with limited lighting (power outage). I did not use any LUT or external effects. :):):)

Toystorylab: Thank you. If all goes well, Part 2 will be released in April 2020. I planned on releasing the 25-minute episode in its entirety but with the digital skin upgrade, adding the rail launch system and the winch system, it took me 11 weeks to create the first half of this episode.:):):)

Rosuckmedia: Thank you. The voices are from the original show. I record the entire audio of the episode and then use audio software to splice the 25 minutes into usually 15 scenes. Each scene is divided into three categories: Character’s voices, Music & Special Effects. I then add the sound files in iClone or in my video editing software (on the audio line). :):):)

Nealtucker: Thank you. When digital skin was released, I decided to make the transition to my established XL5 characters. This caused one problem. While rendering certain scenes, some characters had overly shiny eyes, scalp or teeth. To fix that issue, I had to reduce the Specular of the eyes, scalp and teeth to 0. :):):)

Pinguintje: Thank you so much for the 25-star rating and calling it a masterpiece. I am humbled. :):):)

Mark:  Thank you. Again, I am deeply humbled. Your tutorials over the years have been so invaluable and helpful I can never truly express my appreciation. :):):)

sonic7:  Thank you for watching and commenting. You have been a consistent viewer and that means a lot to me. :):):)

Postfrosch – First of all and most important I hope your wife’s health has improved. Secondly thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Fireball XL5 was very similar to Thunderbirds as the characters were puppets (marionettes). :):):)

Grumpsalot: Thank you. I too loved the show “StingRay” and I was also a huge fan of the original “Captain Scarlet”. :):):)

UfiArena: Thank you. It took 11 weeks to create this 13-minute video. Some of the rendering, especially the scenes inside Space City Headquarters, would take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to render in iClone. :):):)

Peter Blood: Thank you so much, Peter. Since I released my first XL5 video 2 years ago you have been more than supportive. I appreciate it greatly. (I can’t wait for Ari to get released! Perhaps June of this year?) :):):)

Charly Rama: Thank you for the congrats. It means a lot to me. :):):)

Walt

Thank you for asking Walt. I'm hoping to have it done before the TMU Movie Night in May.
The animation is complete (except for tweaking). So it's down to the voice acting and the sound.
If it comes out half as good as yours I'll be very pleased.

Colonel_Klink: Thank you for the 5 stars. That's was very nice and much appreciated. I had a 20-inch XL5 model when I was a kid. Of course it's long since been trashed. I wonder what it would be worth today in good condition? I still have my 12-inch GI Joe action figures from the 60s & 70s. A couple were soldiers with full battle gear but most of them were the new generation with beards & belonged to the AT (Adventure Team). :):):)

rogyru: Thank you so much for watching and the kind words. I hope each episode can get better. In the future I'm planning on concentrating on better facial expressions, eye movement, and closeups of characters interacting with objects. In the original Fireball episodes Gerry Anderson often used closeups of actors' hands (not the marionettes) to flick switches, push levers and grab objects, etc. :):):)
