I've been watching Reallusion videos for the last month familiarizing myself with the products I purchased (iClone 7 pipeline and 3D Exchange pipeline). I have a library of custom created characters, but I also incorporate DAZ and older Poser character's I created when I first began studying CG. I created many of my custom characters with Cararra, animated them in Cararra, then exported them to 3D Max without converting to Biped etc. and that was fine when I was just using 3D Max for animating movies and commercials.
I've watched most of the RL videos on exporting DAZ characters, and even though there are no tutorials on exporting and importing Poser, I've gotten those characters to work fine. However, when I import my custom characters into iClone, the facial morph data is not being imported. Before I spend hours or even days problem solving, I'm wondering if I need to follow the same process that is required to export DAZ Genesis 3 and 8 characters. There is a DUF file that allows those GEn 3 and 8 character's morphs to be exported automatically. Do I need to follow that same process the Gen 3 and 8 DUF files follow manually (record the morph data by setting keyframes for each morph channel) before exporting from Cararra? I've been avoiding a crash course in 3D Max rigging for a few years now, but with this change to Reallusion for animation, I am preparing to do just that, but I'm currently on a strict schedule.
Hopefully, manually setting those morph keyframes before exporting the FBX is the answer. Thanx! EDIT: Since I can't thumbs up my own post, THUMBS UP!

Problem: Reallision tutorial advising to BAKE MORPS ONLY WORKS WITH CERTAIN DAZ figures, not with custom figures or POSER figures.
Solution: Import CR2 into DAZ STUDIO, DO NOT BAKE MORPHS, EXPORT THEM with FBX. Import into 3D Exchange set up the FACIAL ANIMATION SETTINGS Facial Morphs NOW Working in iClone 7.
