https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/When-selecting-Transition-Curve-Presets-do-not-animate-to-the-key-frame-just-go-thereIf you have ever selected a 'Transition Curve Preset' from the list, IClone wants to animate from the last keyframe of the selected prop to the new one. This is fine at frame 120, but at frame 6,000 IClone starts animating (playing) the movie sometimes as far back as frame 1 to frame 6,000. Has anyone else been annoyed by this? Thanks,

The way you described it made it a bit difficult to understand at first. I think you’re trying to say it’ll “playback” from the previous keyframe to the current, not “animate”.
Anyway this is indeed annoying and when I first experienced it I went trawling through the Iclone settings for the obvious option to turn that off. Of course there was none.
Will likely add my vote later when at my computer.
Edit: in your case I’d hit space bar to pause, then select the previous keyframe and hit “Tab”. It’d quickly jump you to the keyframe you just changed the curve for. Still annoying but possibly easier than typing the frame number in.

Thanks Dr. Nemesis about the tab. I knew how to stop it, but I was always retyping in the number of the current frame or just hitting enter with that number selected. And yes I mean playback. I understand sometimes someone might want to view the transition preset selected, but the play button already accomplishes this. This is just one of those things after about 20 times of doing it I want to scream.

Right, but then I have to get back to that location, and after 20 times of doing this it gets old.

That isn't the point. The behavior of click preset and have the control just go to the frame I had selected would save me hours.

This one I would spend my vote for. Extremely annoying feature, specially If you are assigning presets to a series of keys.

It hasn't bothered me thus far so I would agree with an option to disable it but I don't want it to be eliminated.
