I have noticed a lack of realistic hair for CC. I have all the pacs that RL offers, and have scoured the market place. Some DAZ hair works, and some does not. The lack of hair, and being able to manipulate the hair is limiting. Thoughts?

The majority of Daz hair works.  My thoughts are to use it.

As KT already mentioned, virtually all hair from Daz or Renderosity will transfer over to CC3 without any issues. This gives you hundreds of different styles to choose from.
