Here are my quick and dirty test renders using Iray.  I wanted to see what a CC2 character auto-converted like when it was sent to Iray for rendering.  This is my own avatar created with CrazyTalk 8 and CC2.  Did nothing to the materials or skin in any way.  Just loaded it into the default start-up scene and posed the character.  Tweaked the lighting very slightly to lift the fill side to the right and then just hit render.

You can see the amazing difference in time when switching between CPU and GPU rendering on my ageing FX-8350.  Note that I did not use denoise on any of these renders.  You can also see the render time differences between the Preview render and the Batch render.;

Very interesting results Alan, batch rendering is the way to go and shows that it is going to be possible to render animations from iClone when Iray comes online.

testing CC3 Iray and going deeper inside the possibilities of the shaders. Trial and error searching for fastest way to render.
Here are the first 2 tests ,  rendered in 10sec each picture (2x Gtx 1080), not that bad. :-)
