That's why for me this kind of suit are only to protect for hostile weather , generating magnetic shield to be lighter, to generate vision distortion to mimic environment , Data screen availaible, etc.... But never a weapon shield.
It's not credible Technologically speaking.

Separate the Mech from the CC character and armor.  I definitely am not interested in another Mech.  It is just not in the same category of content either. 

Fact is - Sci Fi is pretty well absurd nonsense, but people do like fantasy stuff.  So... it will continue to be popular.  We must provide some kind of fantastical nonsense to confirm our fantastic scenarios.  Viewers will buy the nonsense we spew at them because they want to. Still we have to make our nonsense explanations sound plausible enough viewers can go with it.  LOL

We can debate long time about nonsense of sci-fi but for me good fantasy/scifi/horror etc must be coherente to be interesting. non existing things in story must'nt be nosense.
That's the problem today for our kids. Metaphore , poetrie , fantasy ,etc have been relegeted in the "nosense" wolrd...

I agree with both of you, but to bring it back OT I really DO hope RL doesn't package the mech in with the suit stuff.  We don't need that kind of monster robot crap (and it's the kind of thing available almost anywhere -- Daz3D is full of those things).  RL's strong suit is Character Creator, and content for it should be what they concentrate on (they can contract with third parties for things like the Rome Set, which is very nice, but we need a TON more CC stuff that isn't available anywhere else, like more hair).

We are not making documentaries here, so it's all fantasy, imagination, and make-believe from there on, not facts.

Also, you can't blame a particular genre, such as science fiction (now abbreviated to that horrible sci-fi) being taken over by an illiterate Hollywood money machine, which is an insult to intelligent science fiction writers such as Asimov, Clarke, Herbert, Vance, Le Guin, etc. We should at least respect each others creations and interests. Personally, I don't give a hoot about the various military packs, but I would never complain about that.

Can we use the male and female suits as CC Characters (without human character inside) to lower poly counts.  These suits look like poly count hogs.

Regarding Rampart and other comments you guys serious ? how can you compare outfits used in Daz for renders to outfits that can be animatited in real time in Iclone and configured in CC ??. Surf the web and look for game ready sci fi suits of high quaility  that are modular and easy to customize . You wont get much for under $ 300. Its plain stupid to compare DAZ outfits  to Iclone outfits its  like compareing chalk and cheese .

Help if some of you could post some of your work to back up your comments and master critique. Always best to put "in my opinion" before a sweeping statment like " Fact is - Sci Fi is pretty well absurd nonsense, but people do like fantasy stuff."  .
