i do not understand this feature NOT See on iClone 6 .

There may be a language barrier here but I assume your first request is for shadows that respect image alpha transparency.  If so, yes, I strongly agree (you can fake it by compositing images inside of iClone but it's a PITA).

The photos to head model capability comes with CT8 Pipeline, and will be available soon (as a plugin?) without CT.

Don't know nothing about animated GIFs (don't really care, either).

My only workaround for the first is a plane with the either same video or background texture loaded using sizing and the UV tiling to fit it to the background or making it have a spherical blur in opacity so it catches some shadow and parenting copies of that to iAvatars.
A curved cyclorama with a flat base and back UV mapped to take the video sort of works too
All a lot of fussing when a drop or wall shadow sufficed

Yes ..... Stage feature base Video or Picture With " Shadow " . ( on iClone 6 , Video or Picture Nothing Shadow  drop on sceene ) 

Shadow on video base or picture Automaticly like iClone 5 Version. ( Stage feature )

I see shadow  only on base plan . ( This deferent )   This layer by layer system like After Effect.

This very important for editing base video or picture. ( Compositing Video with 3D Element on iClone 6 )
