I have built, bought and tested different possibilities to animate water hoses but I have not found anything yet optimal. I would hope for something similar to this in iClone. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljE5TsyGvLw

Cricky (1/7/2016) Why not just use a Posable Firehose?
This was done in 2011, but I may still be able to find it.
yeah that is what I was looking for I have seen it for sale, but dont remember where and when I went to look for it I could not find it.

Here are vines I made that can be posed. The bigger one is perfect for a hose, as it is just a tube with a skeleton. Sometimes it works better to pose first and then turn physics on. It can give a better starting point. Of course, you can just animate the hose by the bones, and not use physics. Attach the vine to your nozzle with the bones pointing away from it so the nozzle controls where the hose goes. 76% of original size (was 664x19) - Click to enlarge https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3nsNVGroEz6MVNQY0NrSFFHeTA/view?usp=sharing

I found a need for this tonight (poseable hose) and it works quite nice. Thanks Rampa!
