So after continued messing around, I discovered that if you select from the hierarchy then you can make them a sub-prop form the menu on the right. Then when exported you can move them around separately. Perfect!

I really like some of the scenes made for daz3d and want to see if is possible to use them in iclone. I can export the scene out of daz3d in fbx and open in 3dxpipeline. I see the hierarchy of scene objects but when it exports for iclone and I open it is just one prop and you can't adjust the different items in the scene. Is there a way to export out of 3dxchange as an iclone project file or something similar so that it is possible to keep the individuality of the items. If not how to get around this? I see the scene is listed as a prop in 3dxchange is there a way to change that setting? Thanks
