Can you do a script (Persona) for me? I want to check.

I have not been able to reproduce the problems you are having with my installation of this pack. Have you tried downloading the pack again and reinstalling? This may well solve your problem.

I've just purchased IC4.3PRO and am having the same problem with the Resource Pack - cannot instal it. Has anyone got any tips?

The version number of iClone you have installed has to match that of the resource pack to allow it to install. Make sure that you are running the very latest version of iClone 4.3.1929.1 and then download the latest resource pack from your account (click Bonus & Upgrade).

This should then install fine. :)

Is this a bug?: Max Real-time Map Size affects exported files

Under the Preferences control panel, I thought that the "Max Realtime Map Size" did not affect the export of videos or images.

Since it's not easy here to attach images, please try the following experiment:

0. Open any project and zoom in onto an object.
1. In the iClone control panel, set Max Realtime Map size to 256x256 and output a jpg of any size.
2. Without changing the camera angle, set Max Realtime Map to 8192x8192 and output the same size jpg.

If you compare the two outputs, do you see a difference?

You have to remember that iClone works in a realtime enviroment so any changes made to the realtime map settings will affect your final output. This is normal and the way it is meant to work. :)

THanks for the reply... but I could not find that information anywhere in the help files of iClone?

The help files indicate that any final output will be in the highest quality possible (unless you check the box "Preview Render") -- that also seems to imply using the highest quality texture maps available. 

You should make this distinction very clear in the help files, please.

Without it, you are totally misleading your customers about render quality! :angry:
