I realized something today from destroying my projects so many times, starting from scratch not knowing what's going on, contacting support as to how might I fix this with little to no suggestions.

I realized in the end that maybe its fine to be destructive somewhat, make your polygroups to get the job done faster because when you've finished the dirty work molding it all and have your complete new shape.. maybe, just maybe you can pull out a new character and mix your new creation as a morph for the new character so the new character has perfect UVs?

Hi rutazr4,

Sen already explained how to solve this problem with G5 head. Just can remark that I'm using exactly the same method when work with G5 heads.
Sorry that forgot to mentioned this in main post. I updated main post and add section -
"8. Multy Sub Materials."
So You wish You can read it.

Hi ,

It's because G5 UV are not good for Zbrush . Why ? look this screenshot inside zbrush :

You need to correct UV in 3d app like this :

ha maybe now i got it....

this was the mouth bag zbrush overlay to the face....
if i auto groups with uv under polygroups and then split the polygroups it works.
face plygroup/mouth bag polygroup/ two eye bag polygroup/ inner mouth polygroup

but then i have to create 5 texures and merge together in photoshop....

Thanx for your reply Vit3D,
the morph uv button is only to display the way zbrush unfold, I never touch the unwrap button in zbrush because for sure I wanna keep the original uv's from iclone. Even when I import to 3dsmax and GoZ it to zbrush the same strange behavior appears. Maybe its an version problem? What version of iclone and zbrush do you use? Is there a way to export explicit uv's from iclone? the silhouette from the texture map looks quiet the same as iclone but why zbrush twisted the head like an old sock.....

Hi rutazr4,

Frankly speaking, I do not understand - What was your aim when You pushed this button?
As I told in description, ZBrush processed UV in very specific way, so better do not use any UV operations except UV flipping. And my description expected that You already have final version of UV on your model before importing it into ZBrush.
