not sure if this is an issue yet, as I'm still learning to play with the new updates, but I called up an old project ...and all the extra lights are gone, just 1 light remains, ...I briefed over the help pages - haven't found an answer on it yet .... my gut feeling says it's just a new way of handling the lighting ....but I'm posting about it just in case.

another one ....called up another old project, clicked launch to edit the texture on a plane , edited the texture...but I couldn't find the update button to reload modified texture \ :blink: /

Ok I said earlier that large Iclone 4 project files crash Iclone 5 after a lot of playing around I found out its not the project size that is the issue its any Iclone 4 project file that has a prop attached to the terrain that crashes 5 ..... using the attach to terrain function ....

Also there is a problem with particles been visible when they should be hidden when using toon shaders. Like if the smoke particle was placed behind a house it would show through the house ..

I can't import sound into iClone 5.
The old Set-Music is gone, and i found a new Media-Sound meny, but i have no right soundtrack meny to import external sound?

Maybe i missed somthing?

My computer: Intel i7-7700K 4.2Hhz 64Gb, Windows 10, GeForce GTX 1080 + GeForce GTX 1070, Phillips monitor 40" 4K  3840x2160 + 2x28" 

My G2 characters are all distorted at the elbows. I'm doing a fresh install of the old content and this is what happens in battle stance. Graphics card: ATI Radeon 6950.

Are you only having crashes when working with old iClone4 projects or does it also happen during normal use when creating a new project?

The Update button is no longer required. All you need to do is Launch to your image editor then when you Save it will automatically be updated in iClone5. :)

Thanks Peter,

It didn't work that way though, I ultimately had to go to my temp folder and reload the pic manually. Maybe there's a switch I need to turn on ? I'll check settings.
