Guess I was hoping for one of the formats a user can actually load as a thumbnail.

The thumbnails will have to be created; existing thumbnails will not suddenly become animated. It seems that newer motion packs have them, because I have seen it.

I think I read somewhere that they are animated GIFs. So iClone 8 has the capability to display animated thumbnails but if the thumbnail is it older (before this feature was introduced) they will not animate.

So obviously user created motions will not have an animated thumbnail unless one was created for them..

I placed a feedback item with support re thumbnails not working.
This was reply
"Now we only set animated thumbnails for motions,so you can't see animated thumbnails for other contents.But not all packs have animated thumbnails."
Not exactly an informative reply !!!!
Of course animation not expected for "other content" other than motions.
So not all motion packs  have animated thumbs   - have to ask why and how do we know which ones supposed to animate ?
Do we now have to assume any user imported motions will not have this feature. ?
With these anomalies  why make such a Big feature thing about it in promoting IC8 ?

I don't if it has been reported but it doesn't work for me either.

What is the animated thumbnail format? Doesn't appear to be animated png...

hello, does reallusion have soft body physics on its roadmap? When will this feature be shown?

If you select a motion pack in Content Manager that has animated thumbnails, then they will display as shown below. Not all packs have animated thumbnails.
