elevatelabs (1/6/2024) Hi Victor, just bumping this up to see if you had any ideas what is causing the teeth to shift back and the tongue flipping over. Tongue bones weren't being placed correctly in the meta-rig and the teeth bones were retargeting to the wrong end of the bone. It was particularly noticeable on very stylized characters. Try it in 2.0.1.

You need to use the Scale Body Weights slider when you're binding the hair to reduce the body bones weight influence on the hair mesh so that the spring bones can take over. See the video at 2:00 for the example of it's use.

Does anyone have an idea why the teeth and tongue are shifting out of sorts so badly when retargeting an animation? Is this a bug currently in 4.0 + 2.0? I have tested a number of different animations and different characters now and I am getting the same issue with the tongue and teeth shifting/deforming. Thank you for any help!

Bit of a long one this. Lots to show here.
Documentation Links: https://soupday.github.io/cc_blender_tools/physics.htmlhttps://soupday.github.io/cc_blender_tools/spring-bones.htmlhttps://soupday.github.io/cc_blender_tools/sprig-bones-blender.htmlI am having problems trying to simulate the braids in this video, but they're not simulating with the bones. I had watched the video where you was showing how to simulate the clothes and hair i did everything but it's not working for me. Could i get some help here? Bear with me it's be a while since i was in the forums i forgot how to quote and reply
What you know today will be obsolete tomorrow

Beansupreme (12/11/2023)
Live link is so cool. I was just playing around with the Camilla cc4 cloth sim character. sent it to iclone, then live linked it to blender. I see that if I select physx it doesn't seem to send that baked animation to blender but the bullet engine bake does. Why would this be? is physx exports overall not a thing in iclone? I haven't done anything with the physics for the data link so it's interesting that there's no actual bone animation with baked physX. Is baked physX just a pure mesh stream even in iClone? If so the only way to get that into Blender is via an Alembic export/import. That will take some untangling.

I mean this on the spine from iClone, it looks like it's automatically on the character in blender but I can't find it as a spring bone there.

What spring effect is that? The spring rigging or something else?

Victor, this update with the data live link looks awesome, can't wait to test it out, thank you for your work! I have a (possibly noob) question regarding the previous version. I use it in Blender 3.6 right now and I can't find a way to turn off the spring effect. Is there a way to turn it off or modify the attributes of it like in iClone?
