Reinstall from the hub CC3 (delete program first) on the machine that doesn't work.

I have two machines.  1 and 2.  On machine 1 I can export V4 from poser 11 (FBX) and import into CC3 just fine.  On machine 2 it doesn't work at all.  I get the "no profile found" error message.  If I take an export of V4 that was done on machine 1, and use the transformer tool on machine 2 to import, it works just fine.  I use the exact same export parameters on each machine yet machine 2 will not import an FBX from Poser 11.  I have even tried to import the base version of victoria 4.2, with no morphs.  Still does not work.  Need ideas.

Do check that both versions of Character Creator 3 are updated to the latest versions. If you have one using an older version then that may account for the error message. Try going to Help > About Character Creator and check that both installs are using 3.32.3312.1.

Same problem. Clean reinstall. Version is up to date. I am also missing the A pose completely and got only and got only male T pose in the folder that should have all poses for daz.
Strange... to say the least.
How can I manage to regenerate the resource folder for daz to a state that allows me to work with it?

When you say same problem do you mean the compatible profile error or originally reported here or do you only have missing DUF files in the Daz Resource folder.

If it is just the latter, please can you post a screenshot showing the Daz Resource folder so we can see what is missing from your install. Thanks.
