I'm getting massive screen flicker when Mesh Edit is selected, makes using it almost impossible.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hi Gerry... Obvious question, but are you using the latest graphics drivers which CC3 prompts about? This issue can occur with older graphics drivers.

Why can you start the avatar in CC 3 not edit with the Apearance Editor ????

INDEED?!?! It does not work on ANY characters CC3 or otherwise!! I AM LIVID! What in the HELL have they DUMPED on us here?

Unfortunately the Appearance Editor does not currently support the new CC3 Base but we are working on it. For now you can use the Appearance Editor with a CC1 Base and then convert to CC3 Base. Please do keep a check on the "Known Issues" page below for some tips and workarounds on known issues.

Driver version and GPU are visible below in my system specs. I've been using them for a few weeks now.

A minor issue. When saving a character in CC 3, the thumbnail is allows a "quick" thumbnail, regardless of the settings in Project Preferences.

If this is confirmed by others, I will enter this in FT. (I'm surprised this was overlooked, frankly.)

I can't reproduce this myself. I get a Quick Thumbnail if the box is checked in Preferences but not if the box is unchecked.

Gerry, make sure TAA is switched off (Shift T) in program preferences.

Not sure if it is me but I have checked for videos and checked the online manual on
Creating Morph Sliders.
I was able to easily do this in CC2 but with CC3 it keeps crashing.
I fill in the info and the path all as the manual.
This is what it is saying causes the problem.

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
  Application Name: CharacterCreator.exe
  Application Version: 3.0.926.1
  Application Timestamp: 5bab3b51
  Fault Module Name: RLMmfU.dll
  Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
  Fault Module Timestamp: 5bab2f91
  Exception Code: c0000005
  Exception Offset: 000000000000560e

Has anyone tried this and had success if so please let me know how.

Thanks Job. A much more informed and helpful answer than the "update your drivers". The question however still remains - why is it happening?

@wires: Hello! Your drivers actually are old and in need of update, if what is in your quote is right. You say in your subtitle thing that your driver version is 399.07. That is a couple months old. The latest GeForce driver version is 411.70. Nvidia made a lot improvements especially during in the September releases. I don't know about CC3, but I know September driver update fixed a flickering issue in PUGB.

I don't know why. With TAA enabled, I've had the same in CC2, and also with the grid in iClone.
