A minor issue. When saving a character in CC 3, the thumbnail is allows a "quick" thumbnail, regardless of the settings in Project Preferences.

If this is confirmed by others, I will enter this in FT. (I'm surprised this was overlooked, frankly.)

I can't reproduce this myself. I get a Quick Thumbnail if the box is checked in Preferences but not if the box is unchecked.

I rebooted, and still have the same problem. Anyone else care to try?

I just realized most all of the purchased hair packs I have in CC2 did not get transferred over to CC3. Were they supposed to or do we have to re-download them from our account? Or can we copy them from the CC2 folder to the CC3 folder?
Thanks

edit: here is the answer. Hehe

@wires: Hello! Your drivers actually are old and in need of update, if what is in your quote is right. You say in your subtitle thing that your driver version is 399.07. That is a couple months old. The latest GeForce driver version is 411.70. Nvidia made a lot improvements especially during in the September releases. I don't know about CC3, but I know September driver update fixed a flickering issue in PUGB.

Let's just clear up a few points here.

Driver 399.07 is just over 1 month old, and not a few months as you state. Whistling

411.70 is only 5 days old, and no sane person uses an Nvidia driver that is only a few days old. w00t

PUGB appears to be something that could be used for mass murder training, and would in no way be considered on my part as a bench mark for the functionality of anything installed on my production computer. Pinch

Thank you for your input.

Gerry

I'm getting massive screen flicker when Mesh Edit is selected, makes using it almost impossible.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hi Gerry... Obvious question, but are you using the latest graphics drivers which CC3 prompts about? This issue can occur with older graphics drivers.

Driver version and GPU are visible below in my system specs. I've been using them for a few weeks now.

There are newer drivers available. I would try updating them. The only time I encountered this issue, a driver update solved it.

Thanks Job. A much more informed and helpful answer than the "update your drivers". The question however still remains - why is it happening?

Well as you are not using the latest drivers it wasn't that uninformed. Whistling

My goodness I've been insane all these years and didn't know it. w00t

Strange though I've never had any problems doing so. Ermm

Not sure if it is me but I have checked for videos and checked the online manual on
Creating Morph Sliders.
I was able to easily do this in CC2 but with CC3 it keeps crashing.
I fill in the info and the path all as the manual.
This is what it is saying causes the problem.

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
  Application Name: CharacterCreator.exe
  Application Version: 3.0.926.1
  Application Timestamp: 5bab3b51
  Fault Module Name: RLMmfU.dll
  Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
  Fault Module Timestamp: 5bab2f91
  Exception Code: c0000005
  Exception Offset: 000000000000560e

Has anyone tried this and had success if so please let me know how.

Will the update to iclone make CC3 characters compatible with morph creator?

Thanks

man, I have to do many adjustments to existing scenes, that cc3 makes linked stuff to the characters to move slightly out of place + some transform movements are off
