One more question:
What about the "Essentials" pack? Do we need to buy that again?
My usual "Essentials" complaint = = = In the product description, it looks and sounds like a "content" add-on, but also includes "functionality," most specifically the ability to work with decals (for clothing and tattoos). It should be sold as "CC" and "CC Pro" to make it clear that there is a difference in functionality, not just a bundle of clothing. Or much better yet, include all that functionality in the base product. So, how will it be in CC3?
iClone 7... Character Creator... Substance Designer/Painter... Blender... Audacity...

Quite some time ago GoZ was advertised as being included in a new release option for IClone and I purchased that option but then Reallusion for some reason
changed the content of the upgrade and GoZ was not included. No refund for this being offered.
So I have already paid for this so will I get it now. Later than charged for.
Also The CC Essentials complete Bundle again I have purchased all the morphs clothes and hottest hair (export version) so will this be updated on my account to work with CC3 or will Reallusion be making this a money getter
by making me purchase another version of what I already have.
Hi Duchess, Unfortunately GoZ support is only in Character Creator 3 Pipeline (the standalone version). It is not part of the free iClone 7 version of CC3. CC Essentials on the other hand will be fully compatible with both versions of CC3 so you certainly won't have to pay again. Well at least you say the CC Essentials will be compatible with CC3. This still does not address the fact that I have already paid out once for GoZ only for RL to then not included it although I had paid for it. So it I have to purchase CC3 pipeline to get it that means that I have been charged twice for GoZ. Not a very good way for a company to treat it's customers. I hope this is going investigated and reflected in the price that I would be charged if I decide to purchase pipeline. I am sure there are others that this would affect also having previously been told that GoZ was a plugin and included in the price they paid only then to be told no now not available. As yet no reply to my question about GoZ. The software is fantastic but marketing sucks!
It does seem like every new update or product spawns a ton of questions on the forum... surely if RL was communicating clearly with their marketing we wouldn't have to 'quiz them' and play the 'speculation game'. Just another workaround I guess... we're accustomed to it, but pity the 'new users' who haven't dipped their toes in yet! :blink:

In Character Creator 3 Iray is used for photorealistic image rendering not animation rendering.
That's an excellent clarification Peter, thank you. I'm just wading into this today, and that was my first ponderment... puzzlement... whatever that word is when you don't have enough information to get properly confused yet, LOL Actually I have to correct myself on this. After discussion with the CC team, we will allow sequence images to be generated so short animation clips are in fact possible. :Whistling: I'm really confused as to why Reallusion doesn't communicate very well with its other departments! I had CC3 pipeline Iray bundle queued but decided to ask in the chat first if I could film with it in Iclone at first he (she) did not know the answer so I waited while he inquired.and when they got back to me he said it was just for CC3! So I bought just CC3 pipeline! No need for something I won't use like (Indigo) Then I read here that not only can you film a sequence (which is all I do) in cc but also will be able to use in iclone7? I have been misled by marketing before so I was cautious this time (by asking first) and still got screwed! :( When I asked in the chat if they could add the Iray plugin for $50 they informed me I had to ask for a refund and then reorder the bundle! I'm not buying It now, or anything else for that matter. I have enough to work with and I'm not jumping though hoops like a trained dog! I love what I have in 7 and I realize Miranda has been tied down from informing us what this damn thing does (I don' blame her or Peter lol) We were told to wait for wip#2 it's 30 days late! The software is fantastic but marketing sucks! OK I'm mad lol but at the same time I want to commend the forum and all its members! I have learned so much from you! Thank you! Gary

If I have additional seats for IC7 and decide to purchase the pre-order bundle of CC3 pipeline with IRay, do I have to purchase them with the additional seats of IC7 or will the SN work with my additional seats?Hi... Because it is a standalone product you would need to purchase the required number of seats for CC3 separate from iClone 7. You will however be entitled to a FREE upgrade to "Character Creator 3 for iClone" for each copy of iClone 7 you have. So in summary:
-CC 3 has 2 versions, 1 version for just CC 3 and 1 version for CC 3 with 2x the features..
-Iray will not work with iClone until iClone works with Iray.
-You will save $ by buying the promotional offer, and likewise simultaneously will double-pay for things you may not use and something you would have otherwise gotten for free.
