Hi Eric, you might want to contact Reallusion support to get a quicker response, you could be here for days or weeks to get an answer.

Indeed, some people wait several days or weeks for an answer, but this is often because no one has the answer or the question is badly formulated.
But also very often they receive an answer but they never come to consult it or they read the answer and do not say if the answer was useful or not.

A really good point, Zero.  It's ALWAYS a good idea to comment on ideas presented, whether they are useful or not (if useful it helps others to know, if not it helps to know exactly why it wasn't useful and perhaps encourages more feedback).

I try to follow this advice myself anytime I ask a question, on any forum, about anything.  Keep the lines of communication open and you will be surprised and amazed at the results.

And, as Job points out, a user forum may not always have the answers - always worth a try, though.

I agree. I would say that in general people here are very helpful, although we are not RL Support but just fellow users. Unfortunately, that is not always acknowledged.

I just bought popcornfx, however it is not showing up under plugin after installation

It's normal, it's not where you'll find the special effects of PopcornFx.

I find it very annoying to keep buying stuff that gets orphaned when the next new thing comes along. I would not have bought the Popcorn FX if I knew it would not work in iRay, it was bad enough that I invested in Indigo, and then that went by the wayside. As did the Kinect mocap junk. Some kind of trade-in would would be a good gesture on Reallusion's part - some of these new plugins are expensive for hobbyists.

I too came here to find out compatibility with IRay. From first presentation when I asked this question Kai's guest in the webinar said "sure this is done through material ID" and Kai stated that we'll have to do another webinar or tutorial for that. I have not seen any further mention of this.. Can anyone confirm that it works? is there a tutorial somewhere? thanks.
