Great idea! :) We already can export OBJ quads, so FBX quads would be an excellent addition.

I think this is my first post on the forum, So Hello to all! :) I just wanted to chime in and say that the FBX export for Pipeline customers needs a QUAD Polygon option. Most of my work is in Maya and Triangles are quite useless to me. I need to be able to subdivide rigged characters when needed without errors. Triangles are never totally clean when you subdivide.

To add to this: to use Character Creator 2.0 Beta 2 you need to install CC 2.0 Beta 1 first.

There is nothing to stop you installing both iClone 6 and 3DXchange 6 on your PC, if you have never used iClone before then it would be a good idea to start "playing around" with version 6 until version 7 is released. Even after iClone 7 is released you can still keep version 6 installed if you feel that you need it. Most of us always keep at least the last version installed just in case there are any difficulties moving unfinished projects to the new version.

Regarding Character Creator, you need to have iClone installed for everything to work properly. First install iClone and all Bonus packages, then 3DXchange and finally Character Creator, that way you should avoid any error messages.

I've bought a new more powerful computer for Character Creator 2.0 Beta.
It doesn't install with error "iclone/Program/Default/RLFace40.iAvatar doesn't match the file in the setups .cab file"


Am I allowed to install iclone 6 and 3dxchange 6 on this computer until iclone 7 and 3dxchange 7 appear?

Are you sure you are launching the right exe ? Your screen capture shows 1.52 version. When I installed the CC2.0, I am quite sure it was clearly indicated CC2.

Hi toppro77, please find the instruction HERE to get the CC 2.0 Beta. :)

There is no requirement to remove CC 1.5, I and all other users are running both versions without any problems.
