I've recently started having this issue where layers of my avatars are bleeding together and flickering - like two different objects are trying to occupy the same space. It used to be only a tiny occasional issue (one or two small instances on an avatar that I had shrunken to child size - I thought that was the cause) but now it's occurring on my other models. It has occurred on models in G3 CloneCloth, BB's SkinTight Superhero Cloth, with the Flowing Hair, as well as parts of terrains (more specifically the swings on the "community stage" terrain default as I was playing back a scene). I'm including an image and a video to show what I'm talking about. The flickering occurs even over a static frame whenever the mouse is moved around. The problem gets better the closer the camera moves to the object. I'm also noticing the shadows are flickering as well (it's in Drop Shadow mode). CORRECTION: Issue occurs in both iC3 and iC4. It doesn't seem to matter how small the project is - the video only has 66,000 faces. My graphics drivers are also up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. iC4 glitch from afterThought on Vimeo.

I've also been finding sometimes that when trying to attach a camera to avatar or have a camera look at an avatar, when I try to modify specifically what it's attached to/looking at (via the ... button) it freezes/crashes iClone.

I've given the upper and lower skin black opacity hoping to resolve the issue, but it did not. (I'm only using iC4). Also had another problem posted elsewhere, where if I add more than a few cameras and then go back to Preview mode, I cannot freely rotate the view. It either 'will not move' or when I play the timeline it follows a route as if I had set camera position or panning using a custom camera. Luckily I had followed akn's advice of over saving many of the project scenes. I cannot pin anything down as the potential problem at the moment because I have made so many scenes pre-made for my next vid I cannot possibly remember all the different settings I had applied to each scene.

Intrigued in this Afterthought. I would be interested to know which Graphics card you are using as this may be a ram issue too.

If you have recently updated your graphics drivers then try rolling back to your previous drivers and see if it makes any difference. While the general rule is always to have the latest drivers, there are times when updating can cause problems that were not previously there. Rolling back normally does the trick and you can then wait till the next driver update before trying again. Let us know how you get on if you try this.
