These features look great. As does your content pack Tokomotion!
I am interested in seeing what price they sell it for. I am sure you will do really well out of this.

Will you allow an export license for these?

I am very, very pleased with the export to obj feature of this update. This will save me so much time!
I have been sending to iclone Pro then sending to 3dxchange pipeline, then exporting the obj to zbrush, then texturing in 3d Coat then bringing back to iclone via 3dxchange, then sending back to CC....
This is fantastic! When do we get it?

Still excited about the release of CC 1.4 and my first character pack. RL did a fantastic job with it. Thanks a lot again.:)

You may already have seen this guy on one of the promo webpages, but I thought it would be nice to have some additional Indigo renders of him. So here they are:):

75% of original size (was 675x19) - Click to enlargehttps://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/881a4018-c6e7-418d-8b62-b35a.png

He isn't finished yet as I want to work again on his hands and feet and I think a tail would be nice as well.

Ha ha!
This guy is great. I love that face!

I am thinking of releasing a few of my own characters but yours are so good I feel a bit intimidated.
I thought animal morphs could be a good idea too but you beat me to it. ;-)

I may release Gil and his family from the Halloween competition after a bit of work and a few accessories.

Do you mainly use 3D Coat and Sculptris for your characters? The tweak room and paint room do work really well but I feel like I have a bit more control in Zbrush.

Thank you very much, Marc - glad you like him:D. You should definitely release your characters - Gil is really great. And you should also work on animal characters as it is always good to have a huge variety of different designs. I think Dicho started the animal morphs for CC and his creations look really good, too.

I use Sculptris and Carrara for modeling. Sculptris is great for organic modeling while Carrara is perfect
when it comes to manipulate only single vertices and to have more control over the mesh. 3DCoat is a fantastic tool for texturing as it is easy to use. I haven't modeled with 3DCoat yet, but this is mainly because of my settled habits regarding Sculptris/Carrara:).

Well, everyone who is interested: I have created a short beginners tutorial on how to fix some minor issues with CC cloth. It's just about the basic workflow, but you can adapt it to the general modeling process. I think I will also create some more videos that focus on detailed modeling work.

That's really helpful Tokomotion and very kind of you to share information like this.
I really wish you the best of luck with your packs. I hope it makes you enough money to keep on creating more.

I also have Cararra but tend to use Blender as my default app for hard surface stuff and vertex / poly manipulation. It took years to get to grips with it but I am pretty fast now and Cycles is great for rendering. The stalled development of Carrara really put me off. Its a massive shame as Carrara was the first app I ever used for 3d modelling (version 2 maybe?) and I thought Hexagon was fantastic. I don't know why Daz doesn't just sell Carrara to a company like Reallusion.

I really should make more use of Zbrush. It was pretty expensive and there is so much that can be done with it. I must get to grips with my fibermesh to low poly hair workflow as I am sure it will speed things up when creating different hairstyles and facial hair.

I know what you mean about settled habits. I also have the whole Allegorithmic suite but barely use it even though I know how amazing it is. I am getting better with Zbrush but I just feel 'at home' with 3D Coat and there are only so many hours in the day! :-)

I just bought the pack and it's full of great characters. Nice work.
I found one issue with the Alethia character. She's wearing leg warmers and these are being flagged as trial items from the marketplace. Thus she cannot be exported to iClone.
Is there a way round this?

Hi Britlish. Thanks for your message. Great to hear you like the pack.

Regarding the issue you described: the accessories that some of the characters are wearing can be purchased separately. If you don't want to buy them simply delete them from the scene tree and the character can be exported to iClone then. I just wanted to show how you can customize the character by adding some additional props. Hope that helps.

Hi ToKoMotion,
Thanks for the information regarding the leggings. I bought them from the store, so problem solved.
I'll be interested to see what characters you come up with in the future. I particularly like the animal types, as they would be great for teaching English to children.
