Hi CC Fans,
as I´m preparing a bunch of stylized characters in CC at the moment I thought it would be a good idea to open my own thread where I will post new stuff regularly. So watch out and enjoy. See you around and feel free to leave comments, likes or whatever you want;).
Here is an old guy - custom head morphs done with Sculptris. Brows and Hair are from RL ToonMaker package.

Hi Toonarama, Hi VirtualMedia,
thanks for your comments. I will try to share as much tips as possible - just let me know what is the most interesting for you.
Here is a stylized kid character. It´s not that easy to create kids. Head was adjusted in Sculptris and I think the body still needs slight adjustments as well.

Seriously Toko , your characters are the best marketing product of Reallusion CC !!! ;-)
Yes Kid is not easy with CC not because of proportions but the face look like older that it must be.... I would like to see (if you want of course ;-) the old man process including the Sculptris , because when I enable simmetry sculpting , it change the number of polygon...
Bravo!!

Thanks mtakerkart, appreciate your kind words.

...
To avoid adding of polygons in Sculptris you need to turn off "Beautify/Relax mesh" and "Smooth subdivide" in Options. Please also make sure to turn off "Detail" by pressing "Q"-button on your keyboard.

Thank you Toko for your tip. But even that the symmetri change something wich make issue when replace in 3dxchange...

Otherwise there's no problem. Did you use the symetric sculpt on your mesh in sculptris?

JC Weatherby (9/17/2015)Are those boots just positioned in place, or actually conformed to the character? If so, how did you do it? ... Oh, and where'd you get the snake? Great work! :)
Hi JC,
the boots are the Standard High Heels that come with CC. I just added the "Leg Warmers" from RL´s "G3 CLONECLOTH NEW LOOK" pack in iClone which you can find in the store. The snake is from RL´s "ANIMAL WORLD Vol.5" pack. At the moment I just work with assets that can be purchased from the Store or Marketplace.
I think as soon as the CC Pipeline version is released I will try to create own stuff - especially CC cloth related items. So I keep my fingers crossed that we don´t have to wait too long;).

Hi CaseClosed,
well, the "G3 LegWarmer" aren´t clothes but accessories like the headphones or the backpack of the Boy character above. You can simply attach all accessories to the different body parts of CC characters in iClone.
Hope that helpes and thanks for becoming a fan;)

New week - time for some new characters:).
This time I was trying to bring CC to its limits by creating a more extreme shape - but this little tool is really stable and could also handle this. It´s true - it can create unlimited characters:D.

How long does it take you to create one of these characters via the CC? I love the look of some of them, but I just don't think I have the patience nor the temperment to go back and forth so many times, and tweaking so many different morphs. That's kinda why I'm not doing much with the CC to begin with, it's just so tedious...

wizaerd (9/21/2015) How long does it take you to create one of these characters via the CC? ...
Hi Wizaerd,
I forgot to mention that I always use Sculptris and/or Carrara to adjust and manipulate the shapes.
First I create the basic shape in CC by going forth and back to iClone 4-6 times. Then I refine everything in Sculptris - go back to iClone and have a closer look, back to Sculptris to refine more and so on. All in all the the Old Guy from today took me around 4 hours to finish. Not bad for a fully rigged and ready to animate character;).

These are pretty great TokoMotion! ;)
The ability to "reset" to a new base by sending to iClone and sending back is really powerful.

Every new software is tedious when you first learn it. My suggestion is to suffer through, because it will quickly become much easier. It's like trying to play ice hockey. Put on the skates, go after the puck, and it won't take long before the moves become second nature and you don't have to think about it.
With CC, I would first suggest trying to match a specific character or face. Match it as perfectly as you can. If something isn't right, go through the pains of figuring out how to make it right. That is how you learn. I believe this is one reason RL is having these contests, to get people to actually dive in and learn how to do it.
Peace.

Hi Rampa, thanks for your comment - yes, the possibility to "reset" is really great.
Hi CaseClosed, well said, I just can agree:).

Hi. Thanks to everyone for your feedback. I really appreciate all your kind words. Haven´t been here for a while, but still working on new stuff.
There are some more characters in the pipeline but I was currently focussing on making custom cloths out of the Base and Essential pack assets. So here is a quick preview on what I got so far: A new pair of sneakers and a jacket.

The jacket needs some more detailed work on the texture but I think the shoes look already pretty cool. More is coming soon. Enjoy!

Hi rampa, mtakerkart, mark and CasedClosed. Thanks a lot again for your kind words. I´m really glad you all like it. There is a lot more coming - so stay tuned;)
@mtakerkart: No, it´s not only done with CC. I prepare the basic shapes in CC first (like leg and arm length, body size, facial look etc.) and then move on refining everything in Sculptris and/or Carrara. As extreme morphs in CC will distort the mesh a lot and make the whole character look bad, it´s really necessary to work on the details in an external modeler. As this is a very time consuming and creative process I don´t think I can make a timelapse video of a whole character. But perhaps I will find the time to create a video showing the preparation of a body part. We´ll see:).
|
By mtakerkart - 10 Years Ago
|
Thank you Tokomotion!. Your answer respond to my curiosity , don't worry for my request , it's ok. Yes that's my problem with extreme morph wich distord the texture... I really d'ont know how to fix this. Do I have to rebuild a new UV or not...That is the question. I'm looking for the rest of your creation for sure ;-)
|
By ToKoMotion - 10 Years Ago
|
mtakerkart (10/25/2015) ... Yes that's my problem with extreme morph wich distord the texture... I really d'ont know how to fix this. Do I have to rebuild a new UV or not...
No, I don´t create new UVs. If you take care with the modeling/re-shaping/smoothing of the mesh the default UVs will work fine. Sometimes I have to go back and forth several times to fix small mesh areas but that´s much less efforts than to build new UVs.:Whistling:
By the way - here is the final version of the Troll, this time rendered in Indigo. Cheers.

Hi wildstar. Thanks for your comment. At the moment it is not possible to create new cloths from scratch. To do this you have to wait for the Pipeline version. Sorry. But you can use the base cloths and the cloths from the Essential pack and adjust/re-shape in an external modeler. Hope that helps:).
After I had to stop my work due to the break down of my old but beloved Logitech G5 mouse I finally found a replacement and already started working on a new CC character. This time it will be based on a game character I found on the web. Still have to do quite a lot, especially fine tuning the textures. As I don´t want to show too much at this stage here is just a quick Teaser rendering directly out of iClone 6. Stay tuned!:D

Hi there. It has been quiet here for a while, because I´m working on a clients project and some other things and haven't had the time to work with CC (unfortunately). But more stuff is in the pipeline and coming soon:w00t:.
Meanwhile, to clear my mind a bit, I played with iClone 6 and tried to improve render quality by trying out some things. I ended up with these results and think they look quite good. It's done with a simple 2-lights setup and IBL + AO and a bit tweaking here and there;).
No.1 (nice texture on the tree)

No.2 (like the reflection in the ball)

No.3 (always love to increase saturation and contrast a bit)

Be inspired and happy creating:D.

... But is it possible with cc to create big toon eyes in human faces? Something like:
I think it is hard to create such kind of eyes in CC at the moment. I already gave all my current characters bigger eyes than the default ones, but at a certain point they will look bad and become too edgy. Also the pupils in the pic are really small compared to the rest of the eye - when I try to give CC characters smaller pupils I never got satisfying results as they all looked a bit maniac:D. I'm planning to create some more male and female characters in the near future and will try to push the limits regarding the eye size a bit more. Let's see what I can come up with.

Blue Rocket (2/1/2016) Thanks for the update!
Please "give a try" to get that Cartoon Eyes :)
Best Regards Mike C
TM, definitely got the custom characters down solid, but I'm not sure that IC's current facial animation tools could work with eyes that large. If you wanted to do stills the warp tool among others in PS could get you some extreme toon like distortions.

The video is back on YouTube:
There is also another one showing the new features in CC 1.4:
|
By mrmdesign - 9 Years Ago
|
These features look great. As does your content pack Tokomotion! I am interested in seeing what price they sell it for. I am sure you will do really well out of this.
Will you allow an export license for these?
I am very, very pleased with the export to obj feature of this update. This will save me so much time! I have been sending to iclone Pro then sending to 3dxchange pipeline, then exporting the obj to zbrush, then texturing in 3d Coat then bringing back to iclone via 3dxchange, then sending back to CC.... This is fantastic! When do we get it?
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Still excited about the release of CC 1.4 and my first character pack. RL did a fantastic job with it. Thanks a lot again.:)
You may already have seen this guy on one of the promo webpages, but I thought it would be nice to have some additional Indigo renders of him. So here they are:):

He isn't finished yet as I want to work again on his hands and feet and I think a tail would be nice as well.
|
By mrmdesign - 9 Years Ago
|
Ha ha! This guy is great. I love that face!
I am thinking of releasing a few of my own characters but yours are so good I feel a bit intimidated. I thought animal morphs could be a good idea too but you beat me to it. ;-)
I may release Gil and his family from the Halloween competition after a bit of work and a few accessories.
Do you mainly use 3D Coat and Sculptris for your characters? The tweak room and paint room do work really well but I feel like I have a bit more control in Zbrush.
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Thank you very much, Marc - glad you like him:D. You should definitely release your characters - Gil is really great. And you should also work on animal characters as it is always good to have a huge variety of different designs. I think Dicho started the animal morphs for CC and his creations look really good, too.
I use Sculptris and Carrara for modeling. Sculptris is great for organic modeling while Carrara is perfect when it comes to manipulate only single vertices and to have more control over the mesh. 3DCoat is a fantastic tool for texturing as it is easy to use. I haven't modeled with 3DCoat yet, but this is mainly because of my settled habits regarding Sculptris/Carrara:).
Well, everyone who is interested: I have created a short beginners tutorial on how to fix some minor issues with CC cloth. It's just about the basic workflow, but you can adapt it to the general modeling process. I think I will also create some more videos that focus on detailed modeling work.
|
By mrmdesign - 9 Years Ago
|
That's really helpful Tokomotion and very kind of you to share information like this. I really wish you the best of luck with your packs. I hope it makes you enough money to keep on creating more.
I also have Cararra but tend to use Blender as my default app for hard surface stuff and vertex / poly manipulation. It took years to get to grips with it but I am pretty fast now and Cycles is great for rendering. The stalled development of Carrara really put me off. Its a massive shame as Carrara was the first app I ever used for 3d modelling (version 2 maybe?) and I thought Hexagon was fantastic. I don't know why Daz doesn't just sell Carrara to a company like Reallusion.
I really should make more use of Zbrush. It was pretty expensive and there is so much that can be done with it. I must get to grips with my fibermesh to low poly hair workflow as I am sure it will speed things up when creating different hairstyles and facial hair.
I know what you mean about settled habits. I also have the whole Allegorithmic suite but barely use it even though I know how amazing it is. I am getting better with Zbrush but I just feel 'at home' with 3D Coat and there are only so many hours in the day! :-)

I just bought the pack and it's full of great characters. Nice work. I found one issue with the Alethia character. She's wearing leg warmers and these are being flagged as trial items from the marketplace. Thus she cannot be exported to iClone. Is there a way round this?

|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi Britlish. Thanks for your message. Great to hear you like the pack.
Regarding the issue you described: the accessories that some of the characters are wearing can be purchased separately. If you don't want to buy them simply delete them from the scene tree and the character can be exported to iClone then. I just wanted to show how you can customize the character by adding some additional props. Hope that helps.

Hi ToKoMotion, Thanks for the information regarding the leggings. I bought them from the store, so problem solved. I'll be interested to see what characters you come up with in the future. I particularly like the animal types, as they would be great for teaching English to children.
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi Sen. Thanks a lot - appreciate your kind words:).
@Britlish: Perfect! That's a cool idea:cool:. I'm preparing some more animal characters, so stay tuned.
BTW, I didn't showed my refined Mr. Froggy yet. So let me catch up on it now:

I'm sorry, but I was too lazy to create a new animation for him, so I reused the one from Papa Bear:D. But that's the cool thing in iClone - create it once and use it forever on every character;).
|
By Britlish - 9 Years Ago
|
Mr Froggy would be great for teaching, as would Papa Bear. Maybe Pricilla Pig and other such characters would also make a great character pack, too. I look forward to seeing your future work.

Tokomotion...
I really appreciate your characters in the stylized characters pack.
In the future you should refrain (not use) DRM content from other packs. The RL party pack isn't a very appealing pack for many of us. The little old man character had trial mark when I loaded it. Logic dictates... I bought your pack, so something on the character I did not own. The clothes, were base content so I guessed hair Voila the trial mark went away when I deleted the DRM hair.
If you release additional content items, please think about this., If you must use DRM content from others - please let us know beforehand. (LOUDLY)
This may have been mentioned before. I don't have time to read the entire thread.

ToKoMotion (2/4/2016) Hi Britlish. Thanks for your message. Great to hear you like the pack.

OR ~ What I did... In Iclone, I loaded a character with the trial items, then in the scene tab, select the trial items and press the delete key, then I saved the avatar in my custom folder with the same name as the template one, selected it, right clicked to 'find file' so it would open the folder. Then I selected the avatar in the templates tab, right clicked to 'find file' to open that folder as well, then moved and copied over the custom avatar and selected to overwrite the original, now I don't see the hideous watermarks every time I want to load the avatar. ;)

Hi Snarp Farkle. That's a good workaround. Thanks for posting.
Hi rampart. Thank you very much for your feedback. I wasn't fully involved in the final assembly of the package, but I will keep this in mind for future releases. I will also discuss this point together with the guys from RL, but believe me they always aim to prepare the content packs the best way and only want to satisfy us, their users. This whole morphing process is really new to everyone, so there are some points in the beginning that will be improved in the future.:)
That said I want to let you know that I'm still hardly working on some possible new releases and wanted to show a quick WIP. So this tiny CC guy "arrived" today:). Enjoy.

Still some things to do - minor finetuning and texture work, but the overall shape looks quite nice:Whistling:.

I'll have your mouse, as soon as he's ready and available for purchase. No way I could ever do this sort of modelling myself. Keep up the good work.
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
That's good to know, Britlish:). So I will hurry up to get Mr. Mouse ready for release!
Next step on that track was to re-texture him and it's done now. I created the texture with 3D Coat - really easy to do, like it a lot! The Normal Maps look quite nice in this Indigo renders.

Mr. Mouse is also happily waiting for one of his new friends and I heard he will arrive soon;).

I have downloaded a free project for test. Looks very good!! When i give the character a standard boot the feets scale to very big (not fit to the small feets). Clothing not. Is that because i don`t own the slidermorph or is this with the slider also the case?
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi doubledutch.
Thanks for your feedback. That seems to be an old bug and it's chasing me:). Try to increase the ARM LENGTH Slider before you apply the shoes - that should solve the problems. After you have applied the shoes you can bring back the arm length to its original size. Hope that helps.
I'm currently preparing some Quicktip videos for the character morphs also regarding clothing. Will also have a look on this issue again. Thanks for letting me know.

Can you not select the shoes, go into the clothing "conform" options, and reconform them there? Or are we saying that doesn't work either?

Thanks for your kind words, doubledutch. Sorry that it didn´t work yet. Mmhhh ... could you post a screenshot, so that I can see how it looks?.
@Kellytoons: The "conform" options doesn't really work on shoes. But thanks for the hint.:)
I've tested it with Linus and don't have an issue. Well, the shoes will be a bit bigger than the feet, but I guess this is some kind of technical behaviour at the moment.

This is how it looks at my place.
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago

Thanks. Looks quite the same as mine:). So I would say is more an issue of that shoes in general - they doesn't really fit on Kids characters;). Let me see if I can modify the shape of the shoe a bit and then I will offer it as a free download. But I think I will also create some custom shoes (more kids like) as soon as CC 1.5 is out. The kids deserve some stylish shoes!:D
Just for example: The Flip-Flops from the Essential Pack look much better (Disclaimer: of course my intention showing this is not to use it as a sales campaign for the Essential Pack - just for presentation purposes;))

|
By doubledutch - 9 Years Ago
|
I think thats a very good idea, to create shoes for the kids. Even my childs (irl) have no big boots like that :)
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago

:) Will do.
I already work on the custom version of the Default Boots and here is a quick preview for Linus. I think looks much better than the default ones - Kiddies like Sneakers:D. Just need a bit more finetuning for all the other characters and I will add them to the CC Projects then. It should be ready beginning of next week and I will let you all know about the update.

Will the kids pack be coming out in the Content Store? To buy all 4 morph packs via the Marketplace works out quite expensive, even though I like how you have split the packs down. But me I would prefer to buy them all in one go, then use Direct Access Credits.
Cheers
Cape :)

Hi Marc. You keep up the pressure - that's good;). I couldn't work on the Animals the last days as I have to finalize a clients project and also need to prepare the final Kids & Teens release. Sorry, but I will do my best to finish them asap.:)
Hi Cape. Yes, the Kids and Teens Packs will be also available in the Content Store, but I don't have an exact date yet. It will be March, but I don't know if it will be already the first half of the Month. I will keep you informed.
And finally also a BIG SORRY to all current Kids & Teens Morph Marketplace purchasers - I promised the first update for the beginning of this week, but decided to add some more adjusted clothes to the projects. So, beside the Shoes I will also provide a shape-adjusted Default Shirt and Default Jeans (for the boys) and a shape-adjusted Default Dress (for the Girls) as I saw that there are some issues, especially with the collar.
Here is a quick preview for Linus and I hope to finalze and upload the other character projects by the end of today. You will receive an E-Mail from me as soon as it goes online. Thanks.

Hi ToKoMotion, your kids look great! I've recently found that the "Davos" slider name is colored out but none of the other ones in the pack are, is there something I missed or is Davos just being evil on me again? hahaha :P
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi doubledutch. Hi Snarp Farkle. Thanks again for your feedback:D. Snarp, I don't really know why your Davos slider is coloured out. Strange thing, but I hope you can use Davos without limitation:). If not, I would suggest to contact RL support.
Well, I needed a break from my clients project and I thought it was really time to create a new character for the animal package. As I recently saw the trailers for "Zootopia" and "Sing" I loved the idea of adding a Piggy to the other characters. Hope you'll like it:D

Thanks izolafilms - I'm planning to have the animal pack ready by the end of March. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything works as I've planned:).
But before I will go back working on the animals, I thought it was time to create a human character again. I found the time to watch "Spectre" last weekend and I really like it (finally a Bond movie that can compete with "Casino Royale";)), so I liked the idea of having a semi-stylized Hero character and used Daniel Craig/James Bond as an inspiration. I really like the result - hope you too:D.

Love the new characters Tokomotion! I'm having a problem with your Tom character that maybe you can help me fix, he seems to float above the floor and I can't find a way to get him grounded. :ermm:

Judy sets on the floor just fine in iClone and CC with or without shoes but Tom does not. There's no way to correct this in 3DX either.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. :)
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi Marc. Haha, that looks cool. Hope you'll have fun with the characters and I'm looking forward to see your creations:D.
Hi Snarp. Thanks a lot for your feedback. I have checked this and it's true that Tom and Leo aren't grounded correctly. Strange I didn't realized it before. So, I have a bad and a good news for you;). The bad news is that I can't easily fix this at the moment and as you already mentioned there is no way to get rid of it via 3DXchange right now:( ... but ... The good news is (as I heard from my RL Confidential Informant:cool:) that CC1.5 will have a new feature that allow to edit the contact settings and you can fix this really easily with it. Now the only problem is that we have to wait a little bit for the release, but I hope you can live with it till then. Apologize for any inconveniences caused.
Thanks again for your post and I will keep an extra eye on this in the future. (I will also copy+paste your post to the Stylized Kids & Teens Thread in the Content Developer Forum)

Hi folks.
Time has passed and I think there is a need for a new WIP update. I'm already working on some new stylized characters and preparing male and female packages which will include different styles of character morphs - Heroes, Villains, Sexy ones or Grumpy Old ones. Additionally the new packages will be split in HEAD and BODY morphs, so that you will be able to combine different head shapes with different body shapes. I will keep you updated!:)
Let me start showing this dude. He's not finished yet, but I think already worth to show.:D

I also tested the new Realistic Human textures on him. I think works also pretty good:

More is coming soon! Enjoy.

@sjonesdc Great to hear that you like the Animal characters. Cool idea and I have planned to create another pack later this year that will make the "Animal Farm" more complete:).

America is in the process of electing many new government officials. Would you look into making some political stylized characters and clothing for political parody videos. For sure we need the top 6 are: Hillary Clinton - her wardrobe reminds people of Mao Zedong tunics frequently - she mostly wears pant suits, rarely a dress. Bill Clinton - Bill usually in a suit Donald Trump - Usually in a suit Bernie Sanders - Usually in a suit Barack Obama - Usually in a suit Michelle Obama - woman's clothes - professional ...... Some additionals might include some TV interviewer characters Megyn Kelly = Fox News Bill O"Reilly - Fox News Don Lemon - CNN News Lou Dobbs - Fox Business News Chris Wallace - Fox News Dana Perino - Fox News Kimberly Guilfoyle - Fox News Greg Gutfeld - Fox News Brezinski - MSNBC Rachel Maddow - MSNBC ------------- Other political characters might include the Pope, Putin, Soros, Cameron, Firage, some Secret Service types. ------ we can use your other fun characters along with the political characters to make some interesting political videos. The political characters will need a few different clothes, because this should be popular item and many videos will be shared using these characters. The elections will be full on from now until November. The characters will continue to have value even after the elections. Characters should not be totally absurb to the point their physical bodies, faces and clothing are ridiculous stupid or too extreme. Viewers need to easily recognize the characters as possible. Prominent physical features should be emphasized but not too extreme. Yes, we can use Crazy talk to develop the heads... IMO, they would be too realistic. I am thinking more to cartoonish appearance. This way viewers would immediately recognize as parody, make fun of, or use in other fun ways. It may be the message presented may be serious. The message of the videos can be delivered as comedy even, if the message is cynical, satire, sarcastic or mockery.
http://www.dictionary.com/browse/parody
Reallusion has released a Toonmaker pack with political characters, but they are not close enough to what the people look like for best appeal to viewers. http://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/ccdproduct.aspx?contentid=AIC551CIENU012020160519013

Thanks a lot Snarp and Garry for your kind words. Really glad that you still like the characters:D.
@Xentient Thanks for your comment, but I have to disappoint you. This pic and all other stills are rendered with Indigo, no Realtime here. Sorry. Let's see what RL will offer regarding PBR by the end of the year;).
@rampart Also Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I have to say that this is really a nice idea, but I have also to admit that caricatures of people are really hard to master - if you want to create really good ones;). You have to pay a lot of attention to details to figure out what makes the respective person unique and will make the strongest effect in the caricature. There are not much artists out there who can handle this and I don't know if I'm able to do it, as I didn't tried it yet. Perhaps I will give it a try, but I will definitely not be able to create such a bunch of characters. Sorry. But maybe someone else will start creating some of the mentioned characters as it is a really good idea. So thanks again for your thoughts:).
As promised I now focus on the creation of some old ladies that will be perfect companions for the old dudes. Here is the first one. She had no problems showing herself in underwear - hope that's OK with Kelleytoons;)

Thanks Kelleytoons and Marc for your nice feedback. I think the characters are OK when you want to buy them:D. This first "oldies" pack will be released soon and there will be also a middle and younger age pack coming a little later. Will post the character previews first here in this thread. So stay tuned.
Thanks rampart and mr_vidius. I will keep this in mind:).
I thought I also need to add a clothed version for the first old lady. So here it comes:

... and I couldn't resist to create a quick animation:D. Enjoy!

More fabulous (and partly hideous) characters! I know what my birthday money is going to be spent on this year.
I know you will have your own ideas for future characters but I think you could make some fabulous bad guys!
|

|
Thanks a lot for all your feedback and ongoing support. Really appreciate all your positive comments and it pushes me forward to create more unique characters for you:)!
I think there will be some nice characters in the middle age and younger age packs that will be perfect to be used as bad guys/villains. But the best thing is that all new packs will have separate Head and Body Morphs. This way you can combine different heads with different bodies and you will have much more possibilties to create the characters you want!
I also wanted to post another old lady for you all. Hope you like it and have a great weekend everyone!:)

Hi Everyone. It has been a while since my last post, but finally I could start working on my characters again.:)
A big "Thanks" to Alemar and Garry for your comments. Appreciate it as always.
I have created the 3rd Old Lady and now the "Oldies" Pack is ready for release. I will prepare all Promo Materials now and start uploading everything to the Marketplace. It should be ready beginning of next week;). But first of all here is the preview for the missing 3rd Old Lady. Hope you like it.

Hi Folks.
As promised the "Oldies" have now been released to the Marketplace (sorry for the short delay:)). They will also arrive in the RL Content Store soon. I will add a short Introduction Video for the Oldies a bit later as well. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. But for now have fun with these new fantastic CC characters;):

Of course also available as Combo Packs:

doubledutch (7/2/2016) Looking wonderful, like always!
I`m still wondering how it`s possible to seperate head and body in sliders. I have tried and tried, but no luck.
Same here doubledutch, whats more frustrating is to see that it's possible, but no clues given as to how. I thought it had something to do with saving the head in iClone then exporting it as an obj from 3DX and using that when creating the head slider, but no luck yet. :doze:
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi doubledutch, Hi Snarp.
I have created the head morph on the Default Body first. Then saved this morph as a new Head Morph Slider. Afterwards I created the body morph and set the head morph back to the Default Head, so I`m able to save the body as a separate Body Morph Slider.
I'm currently working on my Kids & Teens again, to separate the head and body morphs. As soon as I have finished it I will prepare a quick tutorial on this topic. Hope that helps for the moment.

Hi doubledutch. Your solution is perfect. Thanks for sharing:).
I haven't posted something new for a long time, but the nice summer weather here motivates me to get out more often and reduces the available working time a bit;) But I'm still working on new packages for CC (and this time not only Character Morphs). So, new stuff is coming soon!
Besides working on new things I always try to improve my existing packages. This time I wanted to increase the quality of the fur textures of my Stylized Animals a bit and have created this reference for Rusty here:

What do you think? IMO it looks a bit more detailed and more fluffy than the old texture. I will also adjust the texture for Teddy and Sammy and make them available for you then.
Here is also a quick Indigo Render comparision: OLD NEW

Hi all,
i bought the stylized character pack. Unfortunately the sliders do not appear in the software. where and how do i find them?
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi Everybody.
@doubledutch: Thanks again for your positive feedback:). The new textures will be ready soon.
@ijrivero.live: Thanks for your suggestion. I haven't planned an Anime Style Character Pack yet, but will think it over again. Can't promise anything, but maybe I can come up with something later this year (around 4th quarter)
@sbaerman: Thanks for the information. Please contact RL Support and tell them about your problem, so that they have all information and can investigate further. I'm really sorry and hope you will be able to work with the Morph Sliders soon!
An additional tip: If you installed the pack while CC was running, please close the application and restart. It may help.

hI i BOUGHT TEDDY FROM YOU AND i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW - DID YOU CREATE A TONGUE FOR THIS BEAR BECAUSE i WOULD LIKE TO MAKE HIM GRIMACE IF YES HOWCAN i DO IT REGARD
|
By ToKoMotion - 9 Years Ago
|
Hi test_17. Thanks a lot for your support:). I haven't included a separate tongue morph/animation for Teddy, but you can use 3Dtest's Advanced Face Puppet Tool to create tongue animations. You only have to use the CC Base AFP Avatar provided by 3Dtest and then apply my character morphs on it in CC.
For more information please read this thread: https://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost296428.aspx and also visit 3Dtest's Youtube channel.
Here is a quick test I made using Teddy and 3Dtest's AFP Tool.

You can also use 3DXchange to create customized tongue morphs/animation via the Expression Editor and save them as Custom Profiles. Like this one:

Hope that helps and have fun:D.

At least some of the time anyway. I enjoy making clothes and characters in CC. Its a fantastic tool and lots of fun.....well, most of the time. Hi Mark, Hi Marc, Hi Delerna.
Thanks a lot for your feedback - appreciate it a lot. You can be sure that these character morphs are just the beginning of a bunch of new packs that will hit the Content Store in the upcoming weeks. I have planned a lot of awesome stuff;). The Toon Creatures are one of them, but I need a little bit more time to finish them all.
Regarding Sketchfab: It's really funny that you mentioned it, Marc. I have made my first tests and want to showcase my characters there very soon. Just need a little bit more time to prepare everything. Will let you know as soon as it's ready:D.
@Delerna: It was really a pleasure that I found your clothes - they perfectly fit my demands. I hope to see more stuff from you in the future. Thanks again:).
Here are also some more Design Ideas for the Hero Morphs in case you don't need Fantasy characters.

As you can see they are made for versatile use. Happy Creating!

Hi Everyone.
I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year. Thanks for all your support in 2016! It makes me really happy that my creations became that popular in the last months. The year went by so fast, I even hadn't the time to create a new creating card. So I thought it would be a nice idea to reuse the one from last year.;)
See ya all in 2017 with lots of new stuff! Thanks again and enjoy the time.

I think it's time for the first update of the year and to show some previews for my upcoming CC character morphs. I thought the HERO Morphs would need some good OPPONENTS - so here they are:
The OGRE

The TROLL

The GOBLIN

Two more character morphs are almost ready and the pack should hit the store next week.
Enjoy!

As promised earlier the CC Creature Morphs arrived in the Content Store today. Now you can create Fantasy and Sci-Fi monsters in CC with ease. Looking forward to see your creations!

Special thanks to Marc for pointing out the Sketchfab use for character presentation. My other characters will follow soon!
