A slightly different problem.... When I try mounting a horse (Horse and Tack) I get the message "Error adding operate command"

Hi, the promised video output resolution of 2048 horizontal still didn't make it into the iClone 5 release. The DCI standard I'd like to produce for is 2048x858. I'd like to repeat this request, if you don't mind. Thanks.

The new Sound button introduces Music into the Scene Manager.
A music sample doesn't load using the arrow icons, but can be dragged into the scene.
The loaded music object, however, doesn't appear in the Scene Manager tree.
This is a relatively trivial matter, but I'm wondering whether in the future, music will be treated as an object like the others in the Scene Manager?

Video Card NVIDIA GTX-570

This is a possible solution to some of the user old projects which fail to load from earlier versions...it works for me approx. 9 out of 10 times, except the ones who give me the "Raise Left Cheek" Error.

I turned over all Graphics control to the Video Card; In other words I took the graphics control away from iClone, at least for now.

I also dropped all texture settings in iClone to 256X256

I open the project, which most do open now without a hitch as long as the settings of iClone are maintained at 256x256 during initialization.

If I reset the Texture settings back to 8192x8192 once the project is loaded it works fine during operation, but will not open again after a save if the texture settings remain at a MAX setting when trying to reload. If I reduce the preference setting again, it reloads fine.

That is it in a nutshell.

How do I take controll from Iclone cheers:)

attached is a simple terrain textures at 256 x 256 no animation nothing but still crashed Iclone 5 for anyone who wants to give it a go zipped with win rar.

Its basically a prop thats been added to the terrain with Add to Terrain option - when converted back to a prop it will load ok into Iclone 5...

I can't load a lot of my iC4 Pro projects into iC5 Pro.
it keeps crashing during the loading process. I've transferred all of my avatars and props into the appropriate folders.

try deleting your tarrain and see if that helps .. not saying all problems are down to the tarrain but ita a start:)

thanks mate I'll give it a go
although if I delete the terrain, it's going to be a major problem setting the scene back up the way it was.... hopefully RL develop a fix for this
