Hi I have just purchased iClone 4 Pro and downloaded from website twice now but upon installing an error pops up feature transfer error Catastrophic failure this has happened 3 times so far can you help.

Added a support ticket

Am running Windows 7 X64 Ultimate

There are some things to make sure of:

Have a Gateway opened to the internet...Fast Connection helps.

If that doesn't solve it try:

Disable your Virus Protection
just until the install is finished.

Have you tried to see if it is your content list? http://www.reallusion.com/member/program/memberreg.asp

You have the Serial Number, try and register it.

  I am running iClone 4 Pro under Windows 7 and another thing to make sure of is that you run the install as Administrator. It will give you access to everything you should need access to.

Installed using run as administrator, disabled, Uac, firewall, antivirus still coming up with same error, serial is registered on site downloaded 5 times now still same error

  A Catastrophic failure is a windows system error. I hate to say it but it sounds like you have a windows issue. Have you had any other issues with other software? Have you installed any unusual programs? Do you have a laptop or another computer that you can install iClone on to verify the software you downloaded is okay? You could try a system restore and try installing iClone first. I know that isn't the greatest suggestion but if you know a computer tech they might have a suggestion.

I also wonder if the server thinks you've installed it 5 times and depleted your license use?

Is it listed as an installed program, even though it didn't complete?

Thank you all for your replies and help, I have now fixed the problem as suggested by support team, deleted all temp files, also removed any reference to reallusion in registry (trial version of iclone exchange 2, iclone 4 ex.) defrag harddrive and iClone 4 installed without a hitch.

I think the main problem was with iClone 4 ex as a couple of months ago I lost 1 of my harddrives where i had iclone content installed, so when uninstalling iclone 4 ex had a few problems, so manually removing all entries in registry helped.

Again thanks for the help and advice.
