To Warlord... When you say, "cleanup is minimal and done at the touch of a few buttons and settings" -- what does that involve specifically?
What do you mean when you say "using this method with middleware" -- What Middleware? And also are there any video examples of your output?
Thanks a lot!

sw00000p (8/2/2011) I have one of the older xbox 360 models, and Kinect.
Looking for Quality? KINECT SUCKS!
The Lag is soo bad and when you clean it up... The Quality is Soo Bad!I knew we could rely on you for a positive comment sw00000p :D Personally I disagree. I find Kinect very responsive in general. :P Agree. The kinect itself is not only responsive but functions very well regardless of how poorly I light the room. It actually does better than I would have thought. On the other hand when using this with ic5 the 360 is out of the picture and its just you, the kinect and the PC - right? Those in the beta would know better but this should be quite productive. Clean-up, well, we'll see when we get there. I know I'm going to try it...I've already got the HW. dh

I have to agree with Peter on this one. After using this method with middleware for a few months it has more exceeded our expectations and it looks like iClone has a much better implementation of it.
I keep reading about all the cleanup involved but I've yet to actually experience any of that and we use it quite often. For us cleanup is minimal and done at the touch of a few buttons and settings.

For those of us that has never used the kinect stuff and are tight for space (read the reviews) http://www.kinectaku.com/news/2011/07/make_your_room_bigger_with_nykos_kinect_zoom I'm seriously thinking about upgrading my 4.0 version of Iclone, christmas time. :P http://youtu.be/eiE5gduCrBU LOL :D

I purchased a kinect separately last Christmas. I have an old xbox 360. The kinect came with a splitter cable for power and USB. Plugging into the computer will require nothing additional that I can see.
BTW kinect works great with the 360...looking forward to iclone.
