Hi, h20thunder69
The issue has been resolved and will be released as soon as possible next week.

h20thunder69 (9/13/2024)
I've sent off a help ticket regarding this but thought I may as well leave it here too. The "Update morph to Iclone" Button no longer works after the update.
Someone made a post on feedback tracker regarding the bug https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/Update-morph-to-iclone-function-no-longer-works

Also the hair and props disappearing issue has been happening for me too, I also some weird character twitching that jumpscared me that I have not been able to replicate but still strange. Hope this helps

I sill have some accessories which would disappear with camera closeup in CC4/IC8 (same works fine in CC3/IC7).
The only solution I have found is to export as OBJ, import back and reinstate materials.

Iclone 8.51 crashes when trying to delete objects or characters from scene

I'm facing a new bug where Iclone 8.51 crashes when trying to delete objects or characters from a scene.
- Some objects or characters can be deleted, while others don't.
- This issue wasn't appearing before 8.5.
- This happens to almost all our projects made before IC8.5 and after 8.5
- I wasn't able to determine a trigger, what causes this

Video Upload:

Currently we are almost unable to work on any projects due to the frequently crashes

Specs on the machine used: Win11 RTX 3080 i712700K 64RAM

Hopefully this can be fixed soon
Link: FeedbackTracker (A project File to recreate the issue is attached as well)

Regards
LR

Dear Peter,

I don't know what is going on with version 8.5 but whenever I copy and paste an animation keyframe in the timeline, iClone simply crashes. This isn't even project specific.  I tried un-installing and re-installing, nothing. Plus, I don't even have a shortcut on my desktop anymore either.

Respectfully,
Christian Delavie

Hi Christian

If the issue is happening every time, please report it in the Feedback Tracker and it will be investigated by the iClone team. If you can provide the steps leading up to the issue occurring it will make it easier to track the issue. Thanks.

This is "come and go" issue. They would fix it in one version, then the issue comes back a few updates later. I stopped reporting it...
Very frustrating. Drove me nuts the other day.. and I was only working on a small project with handful of keys.
It's random and for me occurs mostly with Ctrl+key dragging with mouse for copy.
A little better when using Copy/Paste to scrabber location, but still was crashing as well..

Path issues are mounting up.
Best workaround i could get was to just hide and ignore paths i do not want to use.

There is no issue if you create a single path with transform points in a fresh project and then try to delete.

But once you create a second path (while first one is still at the scene), then you are stuck.
You may delete the first path but not the newly created.
So every time you add a new transform path after that, you may delete existed but not the new one.
Very weird bug :Whistling:

@linus10111
I cannot replicate that.
Please make your project fully shared (without the need to request an access).

sorry i missed that step. Link is fixed now.

PATH REFUSES TO BE DELETED
(Posted on Feedback Tracker)

I created a path, and wish to delete it. Right-clicking and selecting delete from context menu does not work. Using the keyboard delete button does not work.

TO REPRODUCE THE ISSUE:
1.Create a camera.
2.Move it around to create a few keyframes.
3.Select the keyframes and convert position to path.
4.Delete the path.

RESULT: iClone will not allow the path to be deleted.
I also created a path using keyframes from primitive objects i moved around. Trying to delete this path also doesnt work. I'm guessing this means all scene objects will face a similar error.

I then i created a path the normal way (create> path), and was able to delete it without any issues.

Here's a link to the project file:Project file

Anybody found a workaround to this?
