I have a character that I made in 3dsmax, and rigged with it's biped feature. I also have a few animations I made for it that would also be nice to transfer to iclone later. I saw somewhere explaining that it was possible to import it into CC4 but I can't find it now.
Are there any detailed walkthrough step by step like tutorials that explain how to do this? I tried just importing an exported fbx of it but it didn't seem to work properly. (For example if I try to put motion on it I get a "cannot apply motion : Invalid file or character not compatible" error.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When importing a biped model, it looks like you need to include extra bones, one for the jaw, one for each eye. Are there other bones you need to consider when modifying a 3d studio max biped to be exported to CC4?

Does anyone know or have any instructions on how to transfer a biped motion file from 3dsmax to iclone 8 or CC4?
