This is a new problem that appears for me after a crash of iClone (version 8.12). When I relaunch iClone, I get the following error message:  Apart from the fact that message is hardly clear, the issue is that after launching there is no Content Manager available, so no access to content (message seems a left-over from when we had a Smart Gallery). The Content Manager still opens in Character Creator, so it functional. The error message seems to imply that there is already an instance of iClone running in the PC but that is not even possible. It has happened to me after each crash I had in the last couple of those, so I'll add this to FT as well: see #9297. Happened to me too ...

Yes. Fortunately, the next day it was OK, so it was only temporary insanity...:unsure:

I have reported this on the Feedback Tracker: Issue 9247
When trying to use the 'Initial Force' settings for a prop. The values I enter, get overwritten with random numbers and nothing happens with regards to my settings entered.I'm doing this with a project where the props are bombs being dropped from a plane wing.https://prnt.sc/lhWODmW5ZEQU1. On frame 0 - I set it to the 'KINEMATIC' state in rigid body physics.2. As the plane moves at the point I want the bomb to drop (about frame 530), I set the state to 'DYNAMIC'. I records the physics animation to the 950th frame.3. The bomb drops as expected but I want to change where it lands. Where I am trying to use the Initial Force setting.I set 'X' to say 500.https://prnt.sc/5dbEp9LXL9zlI then run the animation again with the setting.It does not work and I get my setting overwritten with random numbers or a number in the settings:https://prnt.sc/ucckE1fH3-jGMy project is being hugely delayed due to this bug.I need urgent help - I have flagged it to Mike Long as well via email.

Overall iClone 8 has been quite stable for me, but lately I have encountered frequent unexplained freezes of the program. No particular pattern yet but still puzzling and annoying...:crazy: Everything is up-to-date: program as well as Nvidia GPU drivers (I have an RTX 3090).

I'm currently using iClone8 v8.12 and CC 4.12. I have worked on a project based on these tools for a long time. Recently I found some facial animations exported to UE were not the same as in iClone8. Then I check through and find that the bones' names are different. Check the attachment picture. To prove it's a glitch of software. I just grabbed the CC4 character Kevin and exported him as fbx both from CC4 and iClone8 in the same Unreal preset (Without changing any options) And check the skeletons in 3ds Max. As you can see, some extra bones are named differently. Those "cc_base_" prefixes are gone. And I can understand why iClone8 does it. But the most important is, how about my old project! I have all these "cc_base_" bones in my project and now the new iClone8 refuses to export the animations that are compatible with them. That feels terrible. Just give me an option, so I don't need to rework all the animations, please.
