I am not into rendering images. I build vr apps and I'm having a lot of other work to do so it would be nice that at least reallusion works. I know about Actorcore, its awesome: https://forum.reallusion.com/522340/My-Character-arms-intersect-and-overlap-with-the-body I assume the blend shapes got lost somewhere in between blender -> actorcore -> blender. The question is not whether iclone is useful to me or not, but what options I have within blender to animate the face of the character. I would also pay someone to explain me how to get from cc3 to a > fully < animated character within blender.

Well obviously, for anyone planning to always render externally, the most financially prudent course would have been to pay Reallusion for the pipeline version of CC3 back when it was around $200 USD….as most of us did. (Rendered in Blender) Your only Option today, for getting your Animated&Speaking figure from the Reallusion Character system into blender, is the Pay for the Iclone 8/CC4 upgrade.

From the other thread: "I created a character in CC3, exported it as FBX,... "
I always had CC3 pipeline and wonder if non-pipeline CC3 version is capable of exporting FBX...

4u2ges (9/12/2022) From the other thread: "I created a character in CC3, exported it as FBX,... "

The question was throughly discussed here: I took advantage of the “Pandemic stimulus sale”( or whatever it was) , to finally move up from IC6.5 & 3DX6 pipeline.
I opted to get only Iclone 7 basic but CC3 PIPELINE STAND ALONE as well.
Anyone who has that version of CC3 can attach any existing body imotion to a CC3 Character during export to blender. But believe you needed to have created to facial /lipsynch in version 6 or higher for “imotion plus” attachment.

Interesting! So 3dxchange was 200$ before and they want me to pay $400 now??
Message from reallusion: "If you still need 3DX7 Pipeline, after checking with our sales team, we would like to see this as a very special case, and extend the offer for you, please purchase it via the link below:" purchase-link -> Total 400$.
3dxchange is not even needed anymore in the new version and they have the courage to ask twice as much for it? Im really disappointed.

Forget 3DX!! Ask the sale team if they would sell you that last version of CC3 pipeline (for $200 hopefully) That is ALL you need to send talking/acting ICLONE 7 Characters to Blender for videos like the ones I have already posted in this thread.

In the video you say "prepare a facial animation and export it as imotion+ file" In CC3 I "Send character to Iclone", have it in iclone, but in Iclone how can I export it as imotion+ file?93% of original size (was 540x16) - Click to enlarge 93% of original size (was 540x16) - Click to enlarge

Use the collect clip feature of the timeline and save file as Imotion plus to any location and attach it during the export from CC3 pipeline.
