I've managed to download the animations from the Clients Reallusion account. I chose the Mannequin and Unreal preset. When I try import the animation into Unreal, there is no skeleton in the import menu at the top, what skeleton must I choose, it wont let me import the animation until I've chosen a skeleton and every skeleton I choose causes error messages, but I did choose the male mannequin in ActorCore so should import with skeleton.

Hi...

In my previous reply I pointed you to a tutorial that takes you through the process. This tutorial is working fine in my testing so can you please tell us at which point in the tutorial you encounter a problem. If you haven't tried the tutorial yet, please try to follow the steps exactly as shown so you can confirm the process is working (or where a problem occurs).

I checked with client and they did export the animation using the Unreal Engine Preset. It still doesnt import into my version of Unreal Engine. They are sending the files using Frame.io, should they maybe try sending using GoogleDrive or WeTransfer. I've also asked the client to try download the animation files from their side, and try import into a their version of Ue5, then if it works, they can save and send me that Ue5 Level. Are there any other options I could try? Also the client gave me their account details, I logged on but couldnt find in the inventory all the animations they have bought, otherwise cant I just download the animations from their account. This workflow is tedious, there must be some way to fix this as the client bought alot of animations from ActorCore and was going to keep using you guys for animations, but now is not so sure. Please help us.

Hi...

You need to first check that the the ActorCore motion was exported to FBX using the Unreal Target Application Preset. If it wasn't then that can cause problems.

Once you have confirmed that the FBX is using the Unreal pre-set, please follow the tutorial below which should help.

Hi, I am working with a client who has a separate Reallusion account to myself. He bought a number of Animations from ActorCore he wants me to use inside Unreal Engine 5. Because we dont share accounts I cannot download these animations into Unreal Engine using his account. He has to download as separate FBX files and then send to me. When he sent me the ActorCore FBX files, I tried importing the fbx files into Unreal Engine 5 but keep getting error message below -
"Animation length 13.167 is not compatible with import frame-rate 1920 fps (sub frame 0.64), animation has to be frame-border aligned".
I am unable to import any ActorCore Animations into Unreal Engine 5. Please can someone help. I've searched online and cannot find a solution to this and we have a deadline looming.
Please can someone get back to me asap. my email is graeme@designgvr.com
