Ok sounds good. With CC4 it only costs 100 Dollar more! Thats a good Deal. One more Question i got, is the Performance, anyone know if its somehow better? for example can you this time use 20-30 Characters in a detailed Location better?

IMPORTANT QUESTION: the demo reel for CC4 shows ZBrush being used to create a morph so the wolf can puff cheeks. I'm more interested in learning 3D Coat. Will that be supported for this function, or should I invest in ZBrush??

General Picture Animation (12/23/2021) IMPORTANT QUESTION: the demo reel for CC4 shows ZBrush being used to create a morph so the wolf can puff cheeks. I'm more interested in learning 3D Coat. Will that be supported for this function, or should I invest in ZBrush??It would be great if a pipeline to 3D Coat was introduced, the more so, as ZBrush has just been acquired by Maxon, a company that LOVES the subscription model. You can still get perpetual licenses for Z-brush, but is unclear if future updates will be available, which have been free until now from what I understand. It is a similar situation as when Substance was acquired by Adobe. I have an perpetual Indie license for which new updates are no longer available, even paid. All I can say is, beware!

I asked the same question before in another thread. However, I did not receive a response. We can do manual export for 3DCoat, but it would be really nice if they could make it easier for us. Being limited to ZBursh can be a bit annoying. I even made a simple video about it.

I even made a simple video about it. Hey Yepkoo, I haven't studied morph creation before; glad to see it's that easy! What can you say about ZBrush/3Dcoat respecting the fixed polygon count of iClone... what to watch out for? Thanks for the video! PS: I've been studying 3D Coat on Udemy, pre-purchase. Man oh man, how powerful it is. The teacher is adept with ZBrush and says 3DCoat has some important fundamental advantages!

The forum isn't really the place to get responsive customer service. I don't think people are ignoring you as much as none of us know. RL is giving us another sneak peak in the upcoming weeks that may provide some information. But I doubt we'll get much, if any, performance information until closer to launch.

Probably even then, nobody can answer the question with any certainty.. I’ve been involved in a lot of beta testing for other apps and performance is always being tweaked and improved right up until the day it’s released. In my experience it’s pretty rare to be able to judge the final product’s performance from the pre-release beta.
