Is anyone else having issues trying to convert non-genesis characters with facial animation/morphs to iClone? To be clear, I'm talking about non-genesis characters like the older 3D Universe toons and characters like Klank that have facial morphs. I've converted I don't know how many figures in the past.
The process was simple go into the timeline, add the facial morphs on the timeline and then export. Make sure you have morphs ticked along with the figures and animation on the FBX export options and have the "Final Anything Bake" morph export. Then in 3D Xchange once you map all the bones you have the expression morphs there at your disposal to make your own visme's. I've tried just about anything and I cannot get the morphs into 3dXchange. They simple don't show up.
All the bones are fine, I can map the jawbone and eyes NP. But no morphs. I even tried this with Klank following Warlords ancient tutorial from 1984 (sarcasm) but that didn't work either. I converted Klank years ago so I'm not sure if I'm just newly doing something wrong or if something has changed. Any ideas from you fine folks out there? Here's a screenshot of my export I tried both 2011 and 2012 binary and neither works. I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
