With Grooms, it looks like they chug the system the same way a heavy duty Daz hair would. If the Groom has low strand count, it is very lightweight on the engine. If it is a lot of strands, it will slow it down. Strand count in a Groom is similar to polygon count on a Daz-type hair.

Hello TonyDPrime I hope the Groom Hair will get a little better in UE 4.26, not everyone can buy an RTX3090. I've now done a test with fewer strands. UE 4.25 Power Ik and Blender Groom Hair Interpolated. Where does this Groom Mixed Shader come from?:):) Greetings rosuckmedia

Hi Rosuckmedia! As I mentioned, I think your character is hilarious. I do notice some flickering on his gums as he walks toward camera. Are you rendering directly from the Sequencer, or are you using the Movie Render Queue?

While testing foot IK (tested stairs, but as expected, that did not work well), this short "short" arose...

Super Cool Toy , steps have to be hand or mocap suit animated , i guess , IK will only help to place it but can't control the stride length ...

@JoeGideon, You have very good eyesight, I didn't even notice. Rendered it from the sequencer. Will use Movie Render tomorrow.
Hi Bassline, Haha, is Cool, My poor robot:):) Thanks for information. Greetings Robert

Yepp as more strands you have as more POwer & VRam is needed...but in UE4.26 you can decrease the strands and use LODs...(thats new) So while working on your animations , you can work with decreased hair or hair cards ( UE4.26 converts Strands to hair cards). For final rendering you go back to high strands....

I am a big fan of Audio Visualizations and Niagara can do it very well in realtime , but there is still no support for Sequencer Renderings , only runtime. :w00t:
