Peter (RL) (8/5/2018) When CC3 is started it will check for any CC1 or CC2 morph sliders and prompt you to automatically convert them for the new scene base model. You can also do this manually if you prefer.Thanx, seems there is no reason anymore to hesitate buying CC3 pipeline ;)ONE last question: when does the "early bird" expire?

The "Early Bird" normally expires around the time of the product release, and that will be published when the release is available. :):P:hehe:We are playing high stake poker here, and at least one player is using a marked deck. :w00t:

So if we already have the CC Essential Complete Bundle from previous purchases all we need is the $179 version that includes the CC3 Pipeline and the Iray plugin, correct? I originally bought the iClone (not export) version of the CC Essentials and later bought it again in a Studio purchase that included the Export version. Thanks

Now this all sounds amazing, i just have a question that was talked about a lot earlier, but not mentioned here. I know we can import daz characters, but hair was always a problem, not to mention taking it to UE4 for example ... in simple words, can i now also import daz3d hair into CC3, and will it look the same as it does in daz3d when i render it with iray??
Thanks

I'm a current iclone user, so it looks like I'll be eligible to get the "Character Creator 3 for iClone" edition. Wondering about upgrading to the Pipeline edition. There are two features in the comparison table that are a mystery to me: Clothes Auto Skinning and Cloth Skin Weight Editing (under the content creation function heading). Can someone explain what these two features would add? Thanks! Excited for the new release.

If you want to bring in clothes from other sources (say you've found some free pants somewhere, or you bought a shirt from Daz, or if you've even made something yourself that needs to deform -- not a hard source, like a helmet or purse, but something that needs to move when the character moves, as clothing does) the auto skin weighting will do that for you, more or less. Nothing automatic is ever perfect, though, and even putting clothes on you bought from Reallusion won't fit perfectly. In cases where the fit isn't right the skin or underlying clothing will poke through the upper pieces as a character moves and bends (or if you edit your character in ways that the underlying clothing can't adjust to). So being able to edit this stuff is kind of important (like *real* important). And so that's the second piece. Together those two things should make it fairly easy (nothing is completely easy) to dress your characters with clothing both bought and found. If you are only going to use clothing you purchased direct from RL (or the Marketplace) and you don't apply many (any?) morphs to your characters or make extreme movements you most likely won't need either of these things (although, again, it's sometimes important to be able to fit the clothes properly even if they are custom fitted for you -- just depends on how you dress your characters and whether you use items that might cause issues or not).
