Hi Chris

There is a trial version which is free to try but the full version requires purchasing. There are three versions available with different feature sets. If you are interested in creating your own characters you will need at least the Pro version. However, if you only plan to use the included characters or characters purchased in the Content Store, then you can just go for the Standard version. You can see the full list of differences HERE.

And to find the current prices, including bundles that include a FREE update to Cartoon Animator 4, please go HERE.

I hope this helps a little.

Hi,

I was just thinking about buying CTA 3 and this feature would be a real selling point as someone with little real experience in animation.  I had a look on the iTunes App Store at the app and saw that it was free.  However there was just one review for the app and in that review it mentions that there is an additional $400 charge to be able to use this feature.  I have had a look on the Reallusion website and found no mention (as far as I could find) to any additional fee for this feature.

I just wished to know, is there a fee on top of the price of the CTA 3 software for this feature? Or is it included in the price?

Thank you

Chris

Is Liveface (via iphone x) able to detect eye movements while wearing glasses.

Yes eye movement can still be captured even when wearing glasses.

Hi everybody,

I would like to thank Reallusion to create this LiveFace App. It is enjoyable in CT3 (and more expensive with iClone because I had to buy the profile to use it ;).
To the people who are disappointed: were you so angry when Adobe Premiere became compatible with the 4K camera despite the fact you don't have any 4k camera? Were you so wroth when the GoPro app was able to handle Fusion 360 camera despite you just have a simple GoPro? And when your 3D software editor announced it could handle multiple GPU? Was it so scandalous that some of us could afford multiple GPU servers for rendering while other has "only" an outdated graphics card? Many other examples could be found.

It is a fact: iPhone has a very specific hardware that no other smartphones have. But soon, there will be a competitor with such hardware configuration.

As an iPhone user, I would have been so disappointed if Reallusion would have announced it could make this improvement but would not just because it is not possible with other phones nowadays.

I strongly believe that Reallusion would prefer to offer an Android equivalent, just to increase her revenues and make happy customers!

So, thanks again. And just not focus to that point (it is a good to have, not a must-have), CT3 and soon CT4 (or whatever its name) offer so much otherwise.

I got CT Animator PRO, now I get it. Is there any way to upgrade my version to Pipeline?

If you have just purchased Crazytalk Animator 3 Pro (within the last 14 days), then you could simply request a refund for the Pro version from Customer Support and then buy the Pipeline version. That often works out the most cost effective. Alternatively if it is outside of the 14 days, you can upgrade by visiting the page below. If you ensure you are logged into your Reallusion Account you will see the Member Upgrade price.

There is something missing in CT Animator 3.3
Hi, I'm a new user but i hit something strange at the begining.
I can't see PSD Out button in Composer Mode, Icon is missing!
Is that bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi... A couple of things to check:

1. Do you have Crazytalk Animator 3 Pipeline? Only the Pipeline version has PSD in and out.
2. Do you have a G2 character loaded in Composer mode? If so that will be the problem. G2 characters do not support PSD in or out. Try loading a G3 character and check again.

Ola (RL) -

As a CTA3 user, I DO appreciate the feedback.
I mean no offense, but once again, in re-reading this response several times:
1)  we are no closer to a plausible solution for Android Users of CTA3
2)  frankly, I was taken aback by the seemingly 'cavalier' attitude as referenced
by your response with: "Can we say this feature is for All CTA3 Users?
Yes, we can.
Why?
No one knows about this outside Reallusion yet. .... I can not say when or which version..."  Huh!?!, What?
As of this post - Yes, you can state that - BUT it isn't the truth.

I'm not here to make trouble, honest - but stop with the PR babble. The fact remains, there is
NO SOLUTION currently available to ANDROID users of your CTA3 product.
I also am dismayed by the comment regarding:
"Sadly, the current Android phones do not provide tracking system as accurate as the "True Depth Camera" of iPhone X."

AGAIN - NOT A TRUE STATEMENT - Right now, I have a Windows 7 OS that is using an Android Samsung 4 MINI << (About
as low end as it gets (consumer-wise)), that is ported via a USB port handshake as a "lab-grade" test bench WEBCam that
interfaces with a product called FACERig (which is an older technology as well - circa 2012-2014, since updated thru 2018) and
allows for REAL-TIME MoCAP and is as accurate as your iPhone X. << SEE FOR YOURSELF, just Google 'FaceRig on Steam'.

My point is this - the technology DOES exist for Android Devices (and WebCAMS) to interact with MoCAP applications.
From their inception - APPLE has always been an US versus the world mentality / technology - I at one timed owned one of the very
first IBM 2 drive Floppy* (5.25" Disk) computers AND NO HARD DRIVE with a single Intel 8088 Processor @ 4.77MHz << and these disks*
did actually flop (bend). I then migrated to the XT (w/10MB HDD) CGA Display (16 colors) and upgraded again and again and again up to today
using multi-core processors with 64GB of RAM and $1,000.00 PC-based Nvidia graphic cards with 5TB HDDs along with 32" flat screen monitors (dual).
Just like the hardware 'evolution' described here, I have no doubt Reallusion will offer some type of resolution for MoCAP for Android users of CTA (Version
to be determined). The only question is - in what year?

The above mentioned MoCAP (via STEAM) is quite capable of some impressive AVATAR facial expression and capture.
The tracking is very accurate and the feedback from the camera (or Android phone) is nearly realtime and can be used
in a variety of ways.

RL you obviously will do what you think best for your business model. Which is fine. I would suggest however, that if there
is no real progress yet, then simply stop dangling that 'carrot' in front of the masses with no real tangible results. It's like
poking a hornet's nest in a willow. At some point, you will get stung and it won't be pleasant.

Respectfully,
FX Designer
