After the update to V.7.1.1116.1 the message "failed to load material, this is not a valid material file" no longer appears. That's ok. But I have to check the box "use RGB" (see picture) to get the good colour. Is that the meaning? I dont know if it is material related, but after the update I have now a silly cane. (Accessory Old woman cane, Pack: Cranky old women). Yesterday (before the update) it was ok. Now I only see this.(The opacity for each material is 100) What could be the problem? (in iClone 6 it is ok) Best Regards, Arie

Peter (RL) (11/13/2017) Just to let you know this issue has been fixed in the iClone 7.1 update (due later this week or early next week). :)Most unusual to see something about a large update announced in a 2 month old post. :ermm::blink::unsure::Whistling: Hi Gerry, It wasn't an announcement. It was simply updating a thread with the latest information I had. As for announcements, these are now handled by the marketing team so out of my hands now. ;) Some things don't change for the better - pity. :ermm:

I am getting the same message but the material changes in spite of the error message. My latest project with 7.02 is crashing continuously with no know reason, even during simulation?

I tested this issue using Gwynn and the Gwynn upper, overcoat B. The error warning message about Material loading appears, but the Material is loaded as already posted by Arie and others. I loaded Gwynn and applied the Material to her Overcoat in my default empty project that is set to PBR: The Overcoat is "washed out" using these settings. Changing the project settings to "Traditional" gives this result: Now, changing the project back to PBR results in this: During all of this I never closed the Project settings window after each Color Management change, and the Materials were always kept as Traditional: Interesting behaviour on the Material that needs looking into a little more. Edit: I've added a comment to the FT issue.

One thing to be aware of is that if the project is set to PBR, the Traditional textures look washed out. Setting the project to Traditional fixes the colors for me.
