Morph Creator/Animator is a great tool, which can be used not only to deform the mesh but simply move and/or rotate props.
With morphs you would have more control over props as oppose to baked perform actions or key-frame animation
simply because 3-rd party apps (where morph are created) have more precise tools for that.
This is especially true for the complex props hierarchy or when precision is required.

So in addition to moving vertices linearly from one point to another, it would be nice if Morph Animator be able to rotate them in addition,
clockwise or counter clockwise... say around given pivot point? This would open a door for a whole lot of new possibilities.

Here is what I mean. The gold box is moving just fine, while silver box is getting deformed in rotation because of the linear vertex movement.
I can sure animate it without morphs, but the morph are easier to use and and once done no need to think about distance, angle... etc.
Invaluable in more complex scenarios.

It would be nice to be able to utilise OFX plugins, NewBlueFXBorisFX/HitFilm Ignite etc.

The iclone 7 really tried to push the visual quality by introducing some great features such as Physically Based Rendering and Realtime Voxel Based Global Illumination (VXGI).

However much more can be done to improve the graphical quality even more

For example despite introducing PBR and vxgi the current iclone 7 looks lacking in terms of graphics when compared to some tools such as Unreal Engine, Cryengine, Unity.

Well This is my wish list for future iclone releases

1.Correct linear lighting & PBR
2. Deffered Shading
3.Better Shadow maps
4.Soft Shadows and Hard Shadows with PCSS filtering
5.Screen Space Shadows
6.Better Screen Space Reflections
7. Volumetric Lighting
8.Area Lights
9. Physical light units, IES lights.
10.Order Independent Transparency(if possible)
11.Realtime Reflection Probes
12.Better Shaders and a good shader system
13. A Day Night cycle and weather system ( if possible)
14. Local Fog
15.GGX with Metal & Specular
16.Anisotropic GGX
17.Sub-surface scattering with translucency
18.Clear coat shader
19.Double sided shader
20.Good specular occlusion
21.Hair, Eye, Cloth shading models

Correct HDR for GI
Consistency with direct illumination
Soft Shadows from indirect illumination

HI Reallusion,

What Iclone 7.2 can do is brilliant, amazing and also excellent.
In each Version new Hot Features were added. Thank you very much.

What we are really missing is a 3D TEXT-TOOL to create INSIDE of Iclone 3D Text

on the fly wich each available fonts on the pc/mac and
the typical font settings like bold, italic, wide, narrow and so so and so forth.

With other words a little integrated Text processor for real 3D Letters/TEXT. So we can animate the Letters separately. https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/e6452944-6bd3-4722-80c7-a7d7.png

We create a concept for it but it stops at the point that Iclone- Users are not allowed to use Objects that are not brought in over 3Dexchange.

Yes we can convert a font over a external 3DApp and after hours of converting and sub prop building ( no batch for that is available in 3Dexchange) we can
export each letter or the whole font to Iclone. BUT what if we have thousands of fonts we will use inside iclone?

So the only way could be the generation of the 3D-Letters inside Iclone directly.
PLEASE GIVE US a fully 3D TEXTPROCESSOR inside of Icone.

Thank you for listening. We gave this wish more than 3 times in the feedback tracker with NO Success or answer to it....so we try it here again.

I forgot about this thread ^^

Lets see, hum..
- Animation Layering - So we could layer several animations of the same type/track. Like any animation mixer found in lots of DCC.
- Brigade Engine as the main, native rendering iClone engine (viewports and final rendering).
or
- A Custom Unreal Engine version that would be integrated into iClone as the main, native rendering iClone engine (viewports and final rendering).
- Re-integration of a "Director Mode", with a Unreal Blueprint like system to create Character Behaviors (behavior trees, events system, ai, etc.. including for Facial animation) that could be "puppeteered"/triggered in realtime.
- Re-integration of the Bullet physics properties and constraints panels.

Having used it for a few months, the biggest issue is Character real8sm.

So, a ‘super render’ mode that doesn’t work in real time (we can render a single frame to check it looks correct) that increases the character realism to Blender standard. Without this high realism, this program can never be used as a serious movie making tool.

There is a lot of animation that doesn't look "realistic", including 3D animation, and is still enjoyable and worth watching. Blender is one approach but certainly not the only one.

So if you think it's so bad
then do not use it.
The tip is simple and free and saves you unnecessary trouble over the bad program
Otherwise, I agree with Animgaic

since your aiming for iclone to have compositing capabilities
why not allow png sequences?
i get that your trying to sell popvideo as well
but its a contradiction to the direction your headed
do you want this to be a pro app or have people jumping into hitfilms or AE instead
popvideo isnt very good at its job.

also you could contact red giant and ask them about porting RG universe
to iclone, this would be a huge leap.

@telecaster
... are you referring to png image sequences as 'import into' or 'export out of' iClone 7.2 ?
Steve.
