Maybe RL has a different understanding of how to do business. But If I sell something that is broken, my customer forces me to repair it, and I am happy to do so, even if it is painful. Because if I do not support my customer, he will walk away to the next vendor...

Guess there's only a few indigo users in this forum. :D

Well, there's a point: I wonder what percentage of iClone users visit the forum and then make an effort to use the Feedback Tracker.

Seeing as there is no effort to fix the indigo issue I think its logical to think that sales have not been good enough to warrant fixing the issue.

@sbaerman,

When I said "I trust Reallusion will make the connection and see this as 8+4=12 votes for the same issue," perhaps I should have used the word "goal" rather than "issue."  We share the same goal of making the Indigo interface better and more usable.

Thanks again for posting your related-but-separate Issue Tracker entry.  :)

If they would fix the export I would go back to using indigo.
What kind of exporter exports each frame as duplicated mesh, textures per frame over and over again? This is why indigo is useless for animation.

FYI...
I posted this in Feedback Tracker three days earlier... 8 votes at this time...

I'm not competing, just sharing information.  We're all on the same team here, hoping for improvements.

My post does not talk about crashes, but our posts are very closely related and share some similarities.  I trust Reallusion will make the connection and see this as 8+4=12 votes for the same issue.

Hey Justaviking,

I see your request going a bit further. Thats why I posted it in feedback tracker separately. Because I don't want RL to be able to say : The users ask for better functionality (which is your case) while I asked for : fix the bug in the software, it crashes. Obviously it would be more than smart to implement your suggestion right away. But as RL is trying to avoid the topic since day one, I hope that they at least fix the issue! Especially when PBR is still a myth and we can play around with VR glasses now....

This would also help with online render farms, they seem to only take one file for the objects and mesh then all the frames tied to this objects

Indeed.
It is much more practical to upload 3GB instead of 47GB of data.
