Is there a way to create my own hair and import it in to crazy talk 8? Do I have to get a third party program or use character creator? I have a mac so I am limited with the products that are provided. If I see that I will have the flexibility to create (character, props, clothes, hair,etc) within iclone and character creator, I will build me a PC just to buy and run the iclone bundle with Mo Cap.

The Hair of CT8 is also come from Character creator. 

This year, the Character Creator 1.5 will let user to create their own Hair and Cloth, so it may help developer to create more hair and clothes to use in CC, IC, and CT.

I really hope this is true, don't like the "may" though.

And will that hair be usable in CT8?

With "will", can you add some date ?

Because all my models should mimic well-known people but it is almost impossible right now.
Bald head or none similar hair of substitution do let me advance in my projects.

I am sure that hair is more important than 2K skin texture ;-)

I only can tell you that we are working CC 1.5 now, and it will let developers to create their own Clothes and Hair. 
Because this patch is a big change, it may release on June or July.   
 

And yes, you can create hair in CC and export to CT8 use.

That is incorrect, actually. Don't dismiss one feature because you think another one is more important.

I agree with you in general, but you can agree also that bald characters are very limited, except for military design, Kojak, Yul Brynner and Bruce Willis.
You can have very nice skin, very nice PBR rendering, your characters still miss something.

I agree with him. I don't think it's incorrect at all.  Hair is such an obvious lack.  There's already a whole buttload of skin textures and you can modify it up the whazzoo.  There's like 3 hair styles, and 2 of them are utter crap.  No, hair should've been higher in the priority list...
