Ein kleiner Tipp für alle, die iClone und CrazyTalk 8 nutzen oder nutzen werden:
Ihr könnt eure alten iClone Haare auch in CrazyTalk 8 nutzen. Dafür müsst ihr die Erweiterung der einzelnen Haare nur von iHair zu ctiHair umbenennen und diese dann in den nachstehenden Ordner kopieren.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\CrazyTalk 8 Custom\Actor3D\03_Hair\

Viel Spaß damit!

Naja schade  betrifft ja nur alter Hair Content  Ich hätte da aber schon gerne  eine Lösung wo man auch eigene Sachen einbringen kann :satisfied:

Wenn du eigene Haarkreationen hast und nach iC5 (iC6)
als iHair portieren kannst, müsste das doch (theoretisch) gehen?

Zur Not kann man Haare ja auch als Prop anbringen. Lade in Kürze ein Freebie mit leicht veränderten Haaren von Dylan hoch, muss nur noch eben die Springbones machen.

Ich frage mich gerade umgekehrt, ob man nicht die iUpper und iLower-etc. Klamotten aus iClone einfach in "ccCloth" umbenennen kann und dann in den entsprechenden CC-Ordner verschiebt, um die Sachen dort nutzen zu können.
Mit den Haaren von Rampa (iAcc in ccAcc und umgekehrt) funktioniert das ja prima.

Noch besser wäre es, wenn man z.B. auch die Sachen von Mixamo dafür nutzen könnte (LINK oder siehe Fuse), um sich die teuren Upgrades zu sparen.

Einfach die Extension umbenennen, das ist das Kürzel hinter einem Dateinamen.
Das funzt zwar nicht mit jeder Datei, aber bei einigen schon. Ist im Thread ja schon erklärt worden.

Nun  da ist kein Kürzel zum umbennen , daher frage ich ja wie das geht und in IHair kann man Eigenhaar ja nicht  machen ,  nur iACC also geht das doch nicht oder ? und betrifft dann doch nur alten Haircontent, wie in meinen ersten Post  erwähnt. ?
Auch als Prop anbringen in CT8  scheint wohl keine Option zu sein, wenn ja  wie geht  das ?

Einfach in den Optionen des Dateimanagers (Explorer) ein Häckchen entfernen und schon geht es!
