So is the best way to put these into iClone to use 3dXChange and put all 2600 motions into the "perform" of a single character?  ...seems like "not" a good idea.  Was hoping to have a way to subdivide them into folders in iClone (sorry, new to iClone if this is obvious)

I sorted mine by the categories I downloaded them in. I didn't download all 2600, but I was able to add 400 files to the perform easily enough. And yes, you need to add them to the perform for them to be exported. You also don't need to export your character. I exported just the motions. That way you end up with just a folder of motions in your Custom/Motion.

Just add as many as you want at time to the perform and export, making sure you give the motion folder a reasonable name. Mine was always "Fusemodel" by default from the characterization step, so I changed it to "Adventure", Superhero" etc. as needed for the particular export.

If you loaded all 2600 motions into the motion library, then add selective groups to the perform and export them. Delete all motions in the perform each time, and load the next batch.

I'm sure the experts here will sort you out, but one thing I know is that while iClone does "manage" your folders for you, you can also just step back and do it yourself (in Windows Explorer, for example).

So even if you get these all dumped into one giant folder you can then go into your Custom Content and create whatever folders you want and move whatever wherever.  And when you start up iClone again those folders will all show up with the right stuff there.

I found it a lot easier to manage content this way (outside of iClone).

I haven't tried it with a CC character,  but I've done it with iclone 5 with a regular g3 character -  it's really not hard

Sigh...
you talked human to werewolf/ hulk, I talked human to centaur/ mermaid
then you showed a video morphs of......
morphing vampire fanks.....
that doesn't even need to invoke 3DX
no need for silly tedious expression editor load morphs assign to keys save profile load face puppet scroll to custom tab etc
the shortest path
for animating teeth growing swelling faces heaving chests
plain shallow deformation...
displacement maps will do...
no morph slider required...
simple, fast, easy...

The morph slider that people are seeking
is specially for
1. EXTREME morphs
2. ANIMATE-ABLE morphs (key-able or motion clip, one click preset or puppet result)

https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/ce3f9f73-ec69-45b6-aa55-35f6.gif

 A.k.a. dynamic morphing animation.
I prefer to call it REAL TIME morphing.

IClone is a real time animation tool, isn't it? Smile

Relevance to topic: Mixamo rig...
Based on my most recent IC/ 3DX/ Avatartoolkit manual/ white papers reading...
It is possible to have Mixamo rigs (or other non-standards)
to morph rig character shape in realtime
Morph loading is run-of-the-mill in known animation tools
A few clicks, characters morph in real time
Rig auto-adjust itself to deformed Shape/ Skin in real time
Yet in IC the process is so needlessly tedious it deserves a\own tutorial thread...

The point
Static morphs or Real Time morphs
IClone's morph loading process is beyond user-unfriendly
but also exhausting for content developers
So
For the healthy GROWTH of the MARKETPLACE
IClone needs direct morph import INSIDE iClone
Not hiding 24 sliders in 3DX
Not keeping morph sliders stuck within CC

I like CC for its conforming + physics based wardrobe
If CC cannot real time morph into timeline like Genesis
Then it's one huge step back for me
I'm prepared to model/rig my own iCloen ATK characters
Or go back to my super-optimized custom Genesis in Ds or Carrara
So I'm covered either way

Of course, if non-standards like Fuse /Genesis/ custom ATK characters
also get CC conforming mechanism... (!!!)
Then
It would be a BIG HAPPY BREAKTHROUGH  for every party involved! BigGrin

Thanks guys. These are very helpful. Import to Iclone is smooth as butter with 3DXchange 6.

It's very cool that these are all named pretty well. Remember we can search in the Content Manager in iC6. All that swinging should be pretty easy to find that way as well.

Now we just need our selected character to preview the motion on mouse-over, or single-click. You know, like DAZ does. Wink

since mixamo is now a part of adobe,  you have to log in through the adobe cloud service -  not sure if that's what's happening or if this is a technical error and your system is having a flash error with the page.  follow this link https://www.mixamo.com/    the sign up link is on the upper right hand side of the page ...if you don't see that then it's a technical error.

as for the motions,  I just put them in "A"  "B" "C - E" etc type folders while I get used to them.  with music I have a large libray of sound samples / snippets -  I usually start with a general filing system,  then re-organize it after I get a feel of how I use the library.   For now might just be easiest to say I need a "Swinging" motion and go to the S folder

Where are these anims? I went to the Mixamo site and clicking on anims just gets me a mostly blank page. Does anyone have a link or have I missed the boat?

You need to go the store.
https://www.mixamo.com/store/#/

You'll see various packs on that page you can download. This is a pretty good way to go. Notice that your on the "Featured" page in the menu across the top. If you click on "Animations", you'll get the whole list and some ways to sort it.
