After having purchased the FaceFilter Pro Special early this morning, I have been unable to install the program.  It seems as though the Install program thinks that installing it on Windows 8 that it is being installed on a virtual machine.  The install progam halts at htis point and will not go further.

However it is implemented, all I know at this point is I paid for a program that they refuse to let me install on my current system.

No response from Reallusion yet, but I am surprised there is not more reports of this type of problem.

Anyone with advice, please let me know.  Greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kevin W.

Hi Kevin,

Please check if you have HyperV turned on your Windows 8 computer. This is known to cause this false error message within Windows 8.

If you do have HyperV running, please do the following to resolve the issue until a permanent resolution is found.

1. Go Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows Features On or Off
2. Disable HyperV
3. Install FaceFilter 3.
4. Repeat steps 1 & 2 to enable HyperV again.

This should resolve the installation problem.
