Is it possible to slow down the physics simulation?
I've got a prop made up of a bunch of little props. (A large sphere, cut into lots of little pieces.)
I want it to shatter which is doable since it's all seporated and each piece has phys properties, but is it possible to "freeze" that simulation so it won't have to calculate it or at least slow the simulation down so that even though it normally takes about a second to shatter, it now takes five?
I know I could just render it as an image sequence and slow it down, but it'd be better if I could slow the actual calculation itself down or the result from it anyway.
