As a new user, something that is really confusing is that if you import a prop, save it, apply it to a character in Composer Mode in the proper position, and then go back to the stage, the prop will be the wrong size and in the wrong place. This doesn't make any intuitive sense at all. I had no idea what I was doing wrong.

See Why does prop placement stink so bad?.

When a prop is added to a figure in composer mode, all the transforms should be reset so that when you exit composer mode, the prop will appear as expected on the character the way you positioned, sized, and rotated it in the character composer.

You will find the answer to this problem has been given in the link you included above. It is because the default transform key is not set at 0, 0 for the prop you used.

This should solve your problem but another quick alternative is to save the character once setup with the prop in Composer Mode. Then load this back into Stage mode. The Prop will then be in the correct location.

Yeah, I understand there is a work around for it, I just think the need for a workaround could be negated entirely.

I do see your point and maybe an option for this can be implemented in future upgrades. For now if you always remember to centralize your custom prop before you save it this will avoid the problems you experienced.

Thanks for the feedback. It is appreciated. Smile
