Here I am again with another (I think) unusual request for assistance. I'm trying to create an aviatrix for a history project. The aviatrix is based on a real person. Consequently, I used Faceshop 6 Pro to capture the actual face. That went pretty well. What I need to do now is outfit her. No real problem with upper and lower clothing, or even shoes. Thanks to past help here, I managed to use PSP for the pilot jacket and pants. My real problem is giving her a pre-WWI (barnstormer) aviator cap and goggles.
OK, now I purchased Shygirl's WWI stuff which I thought was the perfect set to rapidly get me going. Oddly, the uniforms don't show up in iClone, just the pieces of stuff like shoulder patches> But all headwear shows up. But since I solved the clothing issue on my own anyway that was OK except the flight cap. It looks GREAT from the front once fitted to the head and moves WONDERFULLY with the character. BUT BUT BUT, the flight cap doesn't cover the back of the head. No matter what I do it simply will not cover the back of the head. Well, it will if you push it back far enough but then the front of the head is exposed. So, I decided to make my own flight cap, in a manner of speaking. I obtained photos of front and rear views of an actual aviator cap and goggles, placed them in PSP. I had assumed I could use the iClone Launch feature to fit the cap texture over an accessory thus create my own flight cap. However, I've been unable to do that. Can someone advise me on how to use my photos to create the headgear I'm seeking?
