And i have the same problem !
if i use the skin color my head / body colors gets destroyed unproducable.( forhead is skin color, back head is redish and the head has it`s own color, different to the body)
i saw those workarrounds in my link and none is working for me...
is there any way to revert /rerender / autocorrect / fix this problem
(my image i was using is a ai generated image of a female Face in png format)

2nd Question: is there a way to recreate the textures from headshot and relink them in a later state of skingen? or save a preset of skin effects (without skinBase)

i workarround it with the color correction in the material panel

That is the correct approach. The skin color button in the plugin is good for correction, if the automatic match was off between head and skin. Note that you can also multi-select all the body materials at once in the modify panel, and adjust the color of all of simultaneously. Use Shift-click or Ctrl-click to multi-select.
