Hello! I'm importing characters from Daz, Genesis 8/8.1. A problem I keep having is that the toes often peek out of the shoe mesh, and I've discovered that this is because there are unused toe bones that are not conforming to the shoe mesh when being imported. I think I should be able to fix this with bone mapping/skin weights, but my characters don't have the 'Characterization' menu that I think should be in the Modify tab. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the characters are all CC3+. Using the high heels function shapes the rest of the foot correctly, but the toes still peek out of the mesh. Any help would be appreciated!

Bones mapping and skin weight changes for Standard CC characters are not allowed.
Actually individual toes are weighted but for whatever reason are not allowed to be tweaked in CC for Standard CC characters.
You can do that in Blender though and rig pointed heels there as well (via pipeline).

There is a "High Heels" tool in CC. But it deforms shoes badly most of the time if used alone.
And it obviously does not address individual toes posing. On the other hand you may use hide mesh tools to hide toes which are popping out.

And I sure recommend importing DAZ heels separately and rigging them either in CC or Blender.
Here is my CC workflow:

One last thing is about foot posing in DAZ and CC.
There is a significant difference since in DAZ a JCM is used and there is no such a thing in CC by default.
You may download static JCM morphs for CC and use Heels Flexing for better DAZ heels fit: https://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost386118.aspx
