Danny McGrath (7/3/2024) I'm curious as to why these rigs (which are fantastic resources by the way, so thanks) are still built on the UE4 skeleton? UE5 is a few years old by now so why not build them on the 5 skeleton? The animation quality is superior on the newer mannequin skeleton. Not a single reply to this and it destroys me. we are on UE5.4, soon to be UE5.5 and still CC uses the UE4 rig. Sure would be nice if this tool was actually useful to me, since I paid for it, CC3 and the CC4 upgrade. I wont update to CC5 if they continue to NOT implement the things that would actually be useful. Don't even get me started about not being able to export character morphs, that is the dumbest thing possible. As I understand it from the dev team, the reason we can't currently convert to the Unreal 5 structure is because the number of spines is significantly different which causes technical issues yet to be overcome. However, as Unreal 5.4 already provides a way to do the retargeting, the issue can be easily overcome for now on the Unreal side. I have had mixed results, the positions of the bones dont really match and the fingers are always super weird. If Reallusion provided a pre-configured retargeter template that would at least be helpful and solve that issue. They could also export to the UENF skeleton, which is a game ready skeleton that is based on but not as complex as the Meta Human skeleton. The UENF skeleton is in several places but most recently I got it from the Motion Matching template.

Wyrmaster (5/30/2024) So I just paid $700 for Unreal Live Link at the beginning of the month for CC4/Iclone and you are giving the CC4 part of it away for free?I don't know what you paid for, but Live Link itself has been free for indies for a while. https://www.reallusion.com/iclone/live-link/unreal-engine/indie.html

Just to let you know. The Utility CC_CR_Picker widget doesn't seem to work in Unreal 5.4.1 (even if its installed from the epic launcher using 5.4). Also tried upgrading a previous version. All working fine in 5.3
