Hello, I'm importing iClone 8 metahuman animations into Unreal as FBX. The pipeline works.

What's weird though is that I'm having problems re-importing the FBX sometimes, if I make a change in iClone and re-export the same motion with the same file name, same character mesh, skeleton, duration etc. Literally just tweaking some curves etc.

It works WHEN: I don't close the iClone file. If I make a change and re-export, then I can use the re-import feature in Unreal and it just re-imports using all the same settings and updates the asset.
It doesn't work WHEN: I close the iClone file and re-open it and then re-export. Unreal says the following: "could not find needed track".

I suspect this has something to do with the "tempmotion" meta-data embedded in the FBX file, with some unique GUID or something. I have heard there is a workaround by manually text editing the FBX file??!

Surely there's some way around this?
